“I had an issue with an unaccounted for delivery and Heidi, the supervisor from the Ledyard Post Office was great enough to call me a couple of times and track down the package. In today’s age with all the automated stuff it’s really nice that a person would actually take time to do that.”
“This particular post office is always very clean. I loved it because it was small and I was able to go in and get back out in a reasonable amount of time. The staff are always so helpful. I must say, it's super convenient.”

“I traveled to Rhode Island for a Healthcare Agency I work for and I lived in Connecticut. I read the reviews on this location so I went there and got a post office box to get my mail forwarded from New Orleans. There I met Chris!! he is the reason for these 5 stars if I could I would give him 10 stars because he is excellent!! Very kind, friendly and sincerely cares about you receiving your mail. Chris explained everything to me and also taught me some things I didn't know about how the post office and mail issues are handled. Chris really made me feel like a valued customer and friend so many miles away from home. Thank you so much Chris for everything and when I am traveling back to Connecticut I won't hesitate to come and see you. Shouts out!! From New Orleans!!! "GEAUX CHRIS"!!! You rock!!!”
“It’s our favorite post office. Everyone is always pleasant and helpful. There is a convenient parking lot with a drive up mailbox is you’re in a hurry. However keep an eye the time - the hours are limited.”
“The building os very beautiful and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful.
Only deducted one star because they really need to put in a ramp. People with wheelchairs/walkers/strollers can't access the post office, which is crazy.”

“John, the head clerk (I think) at the Mystic Post Office was SO helpful to me the first time I had to do a bulk mailing for work. I had no idea what I was doing and he patiently explained the whole process to me, then helped more when I came back with the mail bins and even helped me carry them out of my car. Excellent customer service! Someone give this guy a raise. Thanks, John!”

“Don’t believe these negative reviews as gospel on here. I always get my mail delivered at consistent times, have positive interactions with the clerks here, and receive updates on my mail because my wife is subscribed to the alerts for our mailbox.
That being said I just had a unique experience with this location, where I was out of town and a package was bound for my house. It was already on the truck headed my way, but the clerk who answered the phone put me on hold and contacted the mail carrier to have my package returned to the office until I got back in town.
These people work hard to help us all, and as long as you are clear with that you need and give them some patience, they will do everything they can to help your situation. Went above and beyond, customer service at its best.”
