Very poor customer service. Two staff were standing close by the drive through service window, looked at me, and continued on their conversation. I rang the bell, and one of them turned to point her finger as to say “one moment”. A solid minute passed before she walked to the window and just starred at me. She did not greet me, ask me what I needed, or engage me whatsoever. She audibly huffed when I asked for a pen to fill out the withdraw slip.

Very disappointed in Webster Bank in Litchfield since its merger with Sterling. Tellers used to be very friendly and helpful. The new supervisor is bossy and disrespectful.I had $4,000 balance in my account, but he would not release funds to me in an emergency because it was "under review." I had mistakenly written a check a month earlier under a closed account, immediately replenished it, but Webster would not give me the undisputed $4,000 in my account pending a "review." Of course, no one called me for the "review." The new supervisor treated me like I was a criminal. Btw I am a lawyer (don't hold it against me) with 28 years of unblemished record.I suggest going across the street to Litchfield bank, which I did immediately.(Webster also charged me $96 for the bad check, and did not consider my request to waive part of it. Stay away from Webster, at least until they get rid of the arrogant and disrespectful supervisor

I understand Webster is going through some changes. I went to drive thru, handed teller my check, 6 minutes later she returns, hands envelope with my cash, no apology for inconveniencing me but she did thank me for my patience. I miss Eagle Federal, they knew quality customer service. I miss being treated w/respect.

We're not quite sure how to rate a bank office -- like the lollipops, hate the pens? Hmmm, this money appears to have been used -- but our experiences with this one have been mostly very positive. And that's mostly because of the people we come in contact with, specifically the tellers. They are a good group: consistently upbeat, helpful, friendly. And the office is comfortable with coffee always at the ready. Further, we got our home loan here, and that's worked out fine although the process seemed unnecessary elongated. They have an ATM easily accessed, and the exterior looks clean and manicured. Problems? Pretty much the same as with any bank: they don't pay any decent interest on accounts, and they could do better with fees and charges for some accounts. But like we said, that's a commonplace gripe for most of us. So we give this Webster branch three stars, but honestly it's pretty close to four. How about some half stars, Yelp HQ?

Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever experienced, blatantly rude. Definitely find literally any other bank.

The Litchfield crew is caring, friendly, and knows how to provide excellent customer service. I also love that if I deposit an out of state check in the ATM, $100 immediately clears. Thanks !!!!!
