Red Barn Yoga is so much more than a place to practice yoga. Joanie has created a beautiful community to learn, grow, nourish and laugh. There are a variety of classes to choose from and experienced teachers to practice with at Red Barn. The natural beauty of the grounds provides a peaceful backdrop to each class. You will find your happy place here!

Have gone to Red Barn for many years. Any & ALL Instructors I have had have been top knotch...They may all teach differently, but, they all teach the same in that they are all extremely knowledgeable and truly care about their students. Their classes never get " stale". As seriously as they take their teachings they, also, elicit a roomful of smiles from their students.

Terrific place to relax your mind, heal your body and find calm in a sea of chaos. Perfect for all levels. Virtual classes are convenient and amazing. Give it a try!

I am that person- the one who has been interested in yoga for years, but was intimidated thinking that I wouldn’t be able to do or know what the rest of the class was doing. The yoga instructors are knowledgeable and welcoming to all abilities! The location is just an added bonus! It makes me feel grounded and energized!

When I moved to the Shoreline 16 years ago, I was flummoxed by the lack of stuff that was readily available to me in Boston. Namely: arugula, cappuccino and yoga. My how things have changed! There's a farmer's market in every town and a cappuccino on every corner. More surprising lately, is the flood of yoga studios that have opened. Riverdog was the first studio I visited in the area back in the day, and recently closed. But fans of the teachers there, Kate Novack, Emrys Tetu and Grace Osara Erhart, need not despair. They've moved to a stunning, freshly renovated red barn on Blood Street, right in my Lyme hood! Views of stone walls and the light scent of fresh pine permeate the serene space. Most classes are geared to "Every Body," so if you're just starting a practice, this is a good, supportive place to start. Experienced yogis looking to get their zen on will definitely find it here, too.

Love, love, love this place. Nothing but great things to say! It is a beautiful studio, on nice days they have giant doors that open and it is lovely. It is always clean. The teachers are all so sweet and welcoming.

A little bit tricky to find as the sign to the entrance is really small. Google maps also had the directions confused so i ended up driving past the barn a few times. However once you find the barn, the scenery and surroundings are immediately relaxing. The studio is airy and welcoming. I enjoyed the yoga class. I would come back purely because of the location and how beautiful it is to practice in the woods/farm.

Recently attended hands-on yoga with Joan and Alison at Red Barn Yoga. I've been plagued by lower back pain for about 10 years. No doctors could find a reason or resolution so I've just been enduring the pain and lack of mobility...just one session and I've been pain free! Thanks so much! Love you, ladies!!
