Just terrible over priced with low quality internet moved to a different town not realizing Comcast couldn't transfer their services here it was better and cheaper Cox is clearly just here to abuse the fact their is no competition in this town pathetic

I've been a Cox Communications customer for nearly two years, and my experience has been extremely frustrating. From the very beginning, I've faced constant connectivity issues. Despite multiple technician visits and numerous equipment replacements, my internet service continues to drop out regularly, leaving me without a reliable connection.
What makes this situation even worse is that Cox has a monopoly in my neighborhood, meaning I have no other cable internet provider options available. I'm stuck with an unreliable service that I am forced to pay for, with no alternatives in sight. This has been incredibly frustrating, especially since I have no choice but to endure these ongoing problems.
The endless cycle of replacing parts and sending technicians has not addressed the underlying issue. It seems that no one at Cox is willing to investigate the root cause or provide a lasting solution. To make matters worse, I have never been offered any compensation for the constant disruptions to my service. As a paying customer, this lack of accountability and resolution is unacceptable.
It's incredibly frustrating to be locked into a contract with a provider that fails to deliver on its promises, and I cannot recommend Cox Communications to anyone. If you have any other internet options, I strongly suggest exploring them. Unfortunately, in my case, I'm stuck dealing with this poor service and have no choice but to continue using it.

avoid. they are a parasite, sucking your money monthly. we're 'cutting the cord' (getting rid of cable) and the customer service rep last week said our internet and phone bill would not go up. which would be $70/mo. Today, i called to cancel and they said it is bundled and would still cost $193/mo and that is without cable. My next action step is get rid of cox cable altogether.

my wi fi goes off more then 10 times a day i pay $90 a month for awful service i work from home and with this wi fi is imposible i hate it and to make it more dificult is the only company that covers my home area? i wish there was other companies around uhhhhhh like ATT to say bye to COX for good…………..

APPARENTLY, THE BRICK & MORTAR FACILITY IS NOT OPEN TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC. HOWEVER, A KINDLY GENTLEMAN DIRECTED ME TO THE RETAIL STORE LOCATION, WHERE I WAS GREETED BY AN EXTRAORDINARY HELPFUL & POLITE YOUNG LADY THAT SWIFTLY TOOK CARE OF MY BUSINESS WITH UTMOST PROFESSIONALISM & CHARM!

Awful, awful business. I would not recommend Cox to anyone. They turned off my cable and internet 5 days before it was even due. Over billed me. To many good companies out there. No need to give your hard earned money to an awful business like this. I wish people would stand up and let Cox know we are not going to put up with companies that are bullies and crooks anymore.

Wanted to setup service, they said I had a line already installed. Turns out the line was cut. Scheduled the technician to install the line, it ends up being a few days. Technician calls me the day of and says he’s 45 minutes away in the wrong town at the wrong address. I call back and all they can do for me is schedule an appointment for 6 days in the future. I can’t work from home to watch my cat, I can’t run my business. This is completely unacceptable. Mistakes happen, but to be unable to fix them in a timely manner is ridiculous. Terrible company, I feel bad for the technicians who work there.

We had added video service to our internet. I picked up the equipment at the store on Deming st but could not get it to work. After spending time on the phone with customer service it was determined that a technician needed to come out. When the technician came it was determined the equipment we received was defective. The replacement he had was also defective. He said a lot of their equipment was junk and sounded quite negative about the company he works for. He finally found a cable box that worked and said we are all set. Weeks later we get a bill that has an extra $100 for the service call to replace their defective equipment. I find that to be a very shady business practice and had to call to have it removed. I was told the technician authorized the charge. They should look into who they hire unless this is what they are trained to do.

Worst of the worst. Never delivered promised speeds but the price is the price regardless. This is the state of the monopolistic infrastructure. Come to us Frontier, or other providers, this company is drunk on poor customer service.22 year customer and they punished me (cut off service) when I asked why I wasn't getting what I pay for. Follow-up with agent (via cell phone) was near abusive.Can't wait to leave them. I need options.

Internet has been down 3+ days and the only update we get is "there's an outage" with no ETA. Live chat is useless, people in store are useless and unfriendly, and when you finally get a human on the phone they hang up on you midconversation.
