Very disappointed with the cox store. I returned my mother’s equipment and cancelled video service. I was told the bill would be adjusted. She received an incorrect bill. When I called I was told the store would handle it since they made the mistake. When I went to the store they told me I had to call billing and there was nothing they could do. I finally got it straightened out with their billing department over the phone. The people at the store don’t take responsibility for their mistakes. I would advise people look at other service providers.

Cox is the worst. Every time I pay my bill my internet seems to stop working. I've been keeping track after the 3rd time it's happened.

Pathetic customer service by COX wifi internet provider. they took 36 hrs to restore my wifi services just after one day long rain in hartford without any storm or so. When calling customer service those guys were disconnecting the call on my after listening about the complain. Very poor service

Cox services get worse year over year! Myself & several thousands of their subscribers have not had DVR services for approximately a week now. I was told by the CSR that I spoke to that they had over 2000 opens tickets regarding the DVR issues. When I call for updates or for an ETA on service restoration, they say they have none. What a Scam… I’d give ZERO stars if I could. I think it might just be time to cancel my services & find something elsewhere.

They take advantage of the elderly by overcharging them for adding things to the bill they do not even use.
Like “unlimited internet” and promotional channels that they do not remove once the promotion is over. It’s very confusing for them… take care of your elderly citizens and make sure they are not being taken advantage of, because this company has no soul.

I initially had a disappointing experience as one of the employees gave me a broken box and deleted my username for some reason while in my account and didn’t tell me. I didn’t discover this error until I arrived home and called Cox due to the broken box. I had to wait for Cox to mail me the correct cable box and had a better experience with a male employee (sorry I did not get his name) who took the time to correct my account and genuinely apologized for the mistakes that were made.

The store gave me and old, broken cable box. After spending an hour on the phone with Cox I immediately returned it to the store, as instructed. The representative at the store would not give me a different box. She told me I had the correct box and that they had just given it to me and wouldn't give me a different one. I spent another hour on the phone with Cox who said that they would mail me one and I had to go four days without properly working cable TV. I'm now looking into alternative television options.

Amazing staff friendly and helpful
