“After trying a few local jewelers for repairs, Arnold's has become my favorite by far! I had a gold bracelet that needed to be soldered, and I originally tried a competitor nearby. That place had it for weeks and it fell apart the same day. I then took it to Arnold's, they repaired it correctly, charged me less than half and it was ready in just 2 days! It has been over a year since I found Arnold's, I have been back many times for their repair services. I had my white gold wedding band plated in rhodium, I've had rings resized, and I've had countless antique and modern gold pieces professionally polished here. All the work is done exceptionally well, competitively priced, and usually completed within days. “I dropped off my wedding band and engagement ring to be repaired since they were severely misshapen and they suggested I also have them soldered together to help keep them stronger. I just picked them up and I am blown away at the craftsmanship! The rings are slightly different sizes and you would never know with the way they are perfectly lined up. I also don’t think I’ve seen them this clean since I got married 7 years ago! Thank you so much!”

“You always go into these establishments cautious, esp if your selling something. You should knw the value of what your selling so your not taken advantage of. Patrick at Brookside Pawn, is very honest, he's not out to take advantage of a seller, esp if the seller is uninformed of what they're selling. Connecticut is a small area to live and work in, u cant expect to have a good name and repeat customers if your don't treat them right, so if u want your transactions to go smoothly and get what you think is a fair or even better then fair deal, then dont hesitate to take a ride to Brookside, def worth the drive, dont bother with any of the other shops you see, most will take what they want, not even say hello, and send u on your way feeling regretful that u didn't go to Brookside in the first place,”

“Stopped in to buy a birthday gift, I've lived in New Britain for 10+ years and have either driven by or heard about this place numerous times.
There was only one other customer, on their way out, when I arrived. The owner was excellent, I told him what I was looking for + price range and after browsing for less than 5 minutes we had found the perfect bracelet.
Quick, smooth transaction, and gift wrapping was included, very well done, you can tell he's mastered that aspect. Overall great experience, I will def be back for more, very nice, great deal, one of a kind service.

She found this store online and communicated with them on Instagram (thank you). She made an appointment. The atmosphere is beautiful and welcoming. My daughter had 2 dresses and got a 3rd one “just because”. She liked her 1st dress but the “JUST BECAUSE” dress was the ONE!!! ? We LOVED the color the elegance and how it fit her curvy body. “This is an easy place to find gifts for my wife. They have lots of items to choose from that she is sure to like. If you need a birthday or holiday card, they have those too.My go to gift from here for her are the Jewel Pops. They actually keep a record of which "Pops" I have purchased for her from here in the past so I don't make a mistake and get her the same gift twice. Now that's what I call a helpful staff. The staff here is also friendly.As a point or reference, it is located next to the entrance to the Southington Drive-In movie theater.”
