Penny's Book Shelf is a lovely store with a very nice selection and a huge, excellent selection of books, described as a reader's paradise. The used books are in very good shape. The owner is very nice, knowledgeable, accommodating, helpful, and always up for a chat. Customers can trade in or sell books for store credit, getting a good deal. Purchases can be made with cash or with half cash and half credit. The books are very reasonably priced. The owner will help find specific books if available. New arrivals are often shown on the store's Facebook page. It is considered one of the best used bookstores.
Great place, great lady running things. They don't have everything but if you are looking for a read not research and want to payless and even be able to bring it back for credit when your done Penny's is the place for you. Can't always find the one thing I want but can always find something worth the trouble.

Wonderful, old school used paperback book store. These are a dying breed but so much fun for browsing and serendipitous finds. Owner is great.
