“We ducked in here today 2 minutes after parking in the nearby free lot. Half an hour later we left, $115 dollars lighter and weighed down with some amazingly unique garden decorations. The shop has a lot of stuff for just about every taste, and the one that appealed most to me and my wife was their selection of works of art that are cleverly created to balance one piece of the work on another. The shop owner was friendly and helpful and explained some of the details about each piece that we ended up purchasing. I gotta say, I've rarely been happier about laying down $100+ for garden decor! Good stuff!!??”
“This is a cool, little nostalgic gift shop. Lots of Harry Potter stuff along with many other great items. They have a great little coffee shop inside that is loaded with delicious options.”
“You will absolutely find what you are looking for. This is one place where going to a brick and mortar store is more efficient than shopping on line. We go annually and are never disappointed with the selection.”
“I had a really bad day before I entered this store of the funniest stuff ever. Now my day is lit! I also bought some laugh material for later. And some badges, pins, coloring books. Loved shopping here!”
“Visited from out of state. Definitely the place to go for souvenirs. So many things to look at, great prices, friendly staff. One of my favorite shops in the village.”

“I am a life insurance agent and I am always busy dialing clients are rushing to appointments. I had to get my tires fixed so I stopped in to check it out and I bought some candles they were a big hit with the whole family”
“I love this store. The owners are beautiful people and the store has such a sense of peace. Great quality clothes and so much other stuff to check out. Great place to visit”
“Nice spot for all things anime and manga, They have a good mix of items to select from. The interior is pretty cool and had life size statues of some classic characters. They have a food section with everything from Japanese ice cream, to Udon noodles, and snacks. There's even a small corner arcade with free, playable, old school games.”

“First time visiting Nest and was thrilled to find a hidden gem of a gift store. Candles, jewelry for every taste, unique decor items, handbags and clothing. The store smells so nice (from those candles and diffusers) and the atmosphere is very inviting. It appears they put out new inventory all the time. Worth a visit!”
“I highly recommend checking out Mystic Aquarium. Prices are lower if you purchase tickets in advance than on the day of visit. The online system is easy to use, but there are also kiosks at Mystic Aquarium to purchase your tickets. Mystic Aquarium has plenty of parking and it is free. It is right next to Olde Mistick Village. They have a huge variety of animals and exhibits, but beluga whales caught my attention. They are interesting animals and I could watch them all day. We spent a few hours exploring the whole aquarium and saw a sea lion show.”
“I absolutely loved my visit to Irish Eyes in Olde Mistick Village! This charming little shop feels like stepping into a piece of Ireland right here in Connecticut. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted by the warm, inviting atmosphere—soft Irish music playing in the background, the faint scent of goat milk soaps (Becca Rose is divine!), and shelves packed with authentic treasures.
The selection is incredible: beautiful Celtic jewelry, cozy Aran sweaters, Belleek china, Guinness gear, Irish food items you can't find just anywhere (perfect for stocking up on treats), and unique gifts for every occasion. Whether you're shopping for yourself, a loved one with Irish heritage, or just looking for something special, there's truly something for everyone. Prices are reasonable for the quality, and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable—they're happy to share stories about the items and help you find exactly what you're looking for.
It's a must-visit spot in Mystic, especially if you're strolling through Olde Mistick Village. I left with a few goodies (including some lovely jewelry and a couple of those amazing soaps) and a big smile. If you appreciate Irish culture or just want a delightful, unique shopping experience, Irish Eyes is pure gold! ☘️ Highly recommend—I'll definitely be back next time I'm in the area.”
“This is my husband's and son's favorite bookstore. When we visit Mystic they actually go every day! They have all kinds of good reads for every interest. Recently, it was expanded to include two large rooms. The front room features new releases and popular, classic novels among others. The room proceeding it features academic subjects such as politics, history, economics, etc. The atmosphere provides a sense of calm, which coincides nicely with the already relaxed atmosphere of Mystic. Before the store itself is a statue of a whale, a hallmark that can be found throughout Connecticut, just as shell statues can be found throughout New Jersey. With beautiful editions of books of every variety, you will not be disappointed!”

“This was a pretty cool store to run into when we were walking around downtown mystic last weekend. They have some cool unique items geared towards the gents. Definitely not the typical stuff you would see anywhere else. Ended up walking out with a t-shirt. If you like the “out of the ordinary”shopping experiences, this may be the spot to pick up that gift for your dad, brother, or whoever. Whatever your taste, this for sure is worth a peek if you’re in Mystic.”
“This store is worth visiting. Better than average to decent quality. I was actually surprised and made purchases. The staff here is fantastic and very considerate and educated.”
