I am very impressed! Very clean facility and pool, welcoming atmosphere and awesome friendly staff.
It’s been several weeks and I’m very happy I joined. The pool is not overly busy and you can reserve lanes for laps.”
“BCRA,they really care about their dogs and it shows. We adopted our last dog from here and over 8.5 years Jenn always answered my text or phone calls anytime I had a question or concerns. I appreciate that so much. It's always been nice and clean and the dogs are healthy! Plus when you adopt here they give all kinds of goodies to go home with your pup wether it's blankets,toys,food etc. If your looking to adopt this is a wonderful place to get your new furry family member. Thanks BCRA for a wonderful dog and a great friendship. ??”

“This is a fantastic place, been going there for 15 years and it only gets better especially since I have been able to take my boys to the gym with me. Google review is not a place for disgruntled ex-employees to leave nasty messages--I have worked and interacted with the staff myself and everyone is kind and nurturing. If you were fired from the Y and you're not able to get along with folks there, that means you have something seriously wrong with you. I hope other employers look at these reviews and take it into consideration when you apply for another job. Be fair and don't be nasty!”
“Just adopted our new kitty from them and the experience was wonderful. They got back to us quickly after submitting the application, worked with our schedule to cover meet the cats, let us take our time with several cats and even walked or dog while we were inside with the cats. The staff was so friendly and their adoption price is very reasonable. We love our new big man! Highly recommend if you’re interested in adopting!”

“Great place to find THE PIECE to suit whatever style you have. Three huge floors and they will arrange delivery if you live in the area. Why buy flat pack when you can get something with character for not a lot of money and support veterans while doing it. Win/win!”

“While there used to be a Salvation Army where I live (Vernon, now closed forever), I know there are still other stores like these scattered all over CT.
I trekked to Hamden earlier this year and when I went here, they had some cool stuff.
I found a couple of good things that I liked. The clothing selection is decent, book selections are a little iffy. There's literally so much space that could be used to keep merchandise in these areas. Service is really good.
I think this Salvation Army is better than other ones I've been to.”

“We brought our Cub scouts to learn more about what the farm does. They had the kids pick fresh vegetables for the soup kitchen and taught them about the horses while letting them brush them. The kids had a great time.”
