“I really like this YMCA. The pool is nice and so is the sauna. My only complaint is the hut tub and been out of order since the day I joined which was about 4 months ago.
I really wish the hot tub would be fixed. I really dont like going to the Waterbury location (since their hot tub works) because the parking is horrible in Waterbury.
So that's why I prefer the Naugatuck branch.”

“Jennifer and her team are God sent. I began communicating with Jennifer at the end of December when I was trying to rehome my bonded pair of pitbulls after things changed in my life. She was very responsive, empathetic, and truly tried to help me make things work. She offered many suggestions and even offered to assist with food and toys.
Jennifer and her team treated my dogs like their own and helped me through a very difficult chapter with compassion and care. I will always be grateful for everything they did for us. Please adopt, don’t shop. She helped me get them up to date on vaccination and their annual. I am very thankful for their help, advice, and everything they did for us. Please adopt and don’t shop 🩷💙

“I am a senior (almost 70 LOL) and my Silver Sneakers class with Nancy is a Godsend! I am now kicking it up a notch and doing MAX 4 with a toned down version with Kyle. But I enjoy seeing my senior friends staying healthy as long as we can under the management of Brandon! I don't care how I look in photos anymore.......I like to look good in X-rays, scans, and test results. Bwahaaaaaaaa”

“Just adopted our new kitty from them and the experience was wonderful. They got back to us quickly after submitting the application, worked with our schedule to cover meet the cats, let us take our time with several cats and even walked or dog while we were inside with the cats. The staff was so friendly and their adoption price is very reasonable. We love our new big man! Highly recommend if you’re interested in adopting!”

“I started donating in NJ because my husband and father in law were Veterans. Now in CT and still donating. Never have I had any problems with pickup. I try to schedule on days when it is sunny no rain in forecast.”

“While there used to be a Salvation Army where I live (Vernon, now closed forever), I know there are still other stores like these scattered all over CT.
I trekked to Hamden earlier this year and when I went here, they had some cool stuff.
I found a couple of good things that I liked. The clothing selection is decent, book selections are a little iffy. There's literally so much space that could be used to keep merchandise in these areas. Service is really good.
I think this Salvation Army is better than other ones I've been to.”

“We brought our Cub scouts to learn more about what the farm does. They had the kids pick fresh vegetables for the soup kitchen and taught them about the horses while letting them brush them. The kids had a great time.”
