Find another company if you don't have insurance because their insurance is more than the rental. Also, all Car rentals have guidelines by the state they will not inform you about the supplemental insurance only insurance at 30 and 50 dollars a day. Pay attention to what they say carefully. This company and Hertz in JFK are the worst pay attention to the assistant they are like scammers do not be distracted when you are in front of them stay focused and ask questions if you don't understand your bill.

Ace rent a car is the best! Crystal and Josh and the whole team there is professional and nice. From start to finish my whole experience was great. Finally a company that cares about their customers I will tell all my friends and family to always choose ACE rent a car .thank you Ace!

If I could leave zero stars I would!!!!! Company is super sketchy. They claim damage was done to the vehicle while in my possession but did not take any pictures during the walk around of the car. They claim to be using '' video footage off the building'' from a VERY high angle that DOES NOT show the undercarriage which they claim I damaged. No report was given. Employees and manager are very rude, dismissive and unhelpful. Plus I have not received my $250 deposit back and the car was returned 48hrs ago. This company is a scam and employees are RUDE. Will not be returning. My lawyer will be in contact with the company.

GREATEST CONSUMER SCAM. Here's what to expect...1) you'll be asked for proof of insurance upon getting the keys, which no one ever has and other rental car companies don't ask for2) they'll tell you to just accept the $30/day insurance charge and bring back proof of insurance and they'll amend the rental contract3) when you return the car with insurance in hand they claim they can't amend the contract leaving you with a more expensive rental compared to more reputable rental companies.Total scam.

Rented a car on 9-15 returned car on the 16th and it's now 9-27 and still have not received my deposit back. When called and asked they said all returns of deposit are done in 48 hours of return. Shouldn't have to wait this long to receive it back. Not to happy.

HORRIBLE experience! Will never rent again. I had a reservation booked two weeks in adavance and when I got there at 10am my rental was given to someone else. Rude unprofessional staff. Practically teenagers only working in that office. Don’t waste your time. Will always give my business to enterprise.

Absolutely would never use this place again. I have never been into a more unprofessional working environment. The conversations being had by the two female employees was disgraceful. I rented and received confirmation of a medium sized SUV and instead received a compact SUV. Making my trip extremely uncomfortable and not leaving us with the room we needed. I have contacted them to have this issue fixed with no response. Do yourself a favor and go someplace that cares about their customers. This is not that place!Also still haven't received my deposit back which they never tell you about until you get there. They also make a photo copy of your credit card and I asked them not to and she didn't listen. I said that it was to be shredded in front of me and they also wouldn't do that.

$250 deposit not returned as yet. Rented car 6/22/2023 and returned car 06/25/2023. Car was returned as rented. Multiple calls to Ace and still no deposit returned.07/21/2023 Update.....I already had gone through all you asked for in your response below. I just saw you shortchanged me $35 from my deposit. You actions fully represent the type of business you are. God will get you!

I’m never using this company again. I reserved a large suv online for our vacation and they texted me a day before saying they don’t have the size vehicle I reserved! Thank god I booked with a more reputable company because we would have been in trouble. I would go elsewhere for your rental needs even if it’s more money.

⚠️Very shady rental company. Be careful! READ THE FINEPRINT if you can find it. ⚠️If you found this place through Priceline or one of the other booking sites, you probably won’t notice the fine print - because it is totally buried.We are renting for 28 days, including a few days where we need to cross into Vermont for just 2 miles to attend our kid’s graduation. Because we’re crossing the border they want to charge us an extra $15/day… not just for the few days when we’re in Vermont but for the entire rental period!If you plan to rent from these guys, make sure you read all the fine print on their website because the terms listed on Priceline do NOT list these restrictions. Complete scam!

I'll say half and half. Due to the fact I'm big on respecting and they were respectful toward me and quick as well which I like. Only thing that was an issue was just the car.I did record before leaving the parking lot, but noticed it late that the bumper was falling off. I had to push it back in and the car tire was making squeaking noises. I had to press the gas a certain way to not hear the noises. I had my husband look over it so it was still safe to drive at least.I would say just keep an eye out on the cars and make sure their are in good shape.

If I could I would give this place ZERO stars. I booked the car on Ace website, paid and received the confirmation. I called the place directly right away (at noon) to confirm they received my reservation and that they had the car for me. I spoke to Denise who assured me they had multiple cars available, all SUV's waiting in the lot. I was told to get there by 2.30. When I arrived at 1.45 after waiting 45 minutes for someone to assist me (there were no customers in the location) I was told they had no cars although I was assured earlier they had multiple. The woman made a few calls and finally she said they had a car. I cannot explain my shock when I saw the car waiting for me. The car was all beat up, seats ripped, filthy dirty with the horrible cigarette smell inside. When I asked for a different car she informed me they had nothing else to offer. I took the car and started driving when I noticed ALL of the cars windows had been tinted dark. This is ILLEGAL in Connecticut, and the person driving that car can get a ticket. In addition the cigarette smell was unbearable so I called the Ace location back. I am pregnant and i have 2 little kids in the car with me. Denise told me she couldn't do anything about it so I asked to speak to the manager. Christine (the manager) picked up the phone and explained there was nothing she could offer but return the car if I wanted to. I had a meeting that I needed to get to and at this point I was already running late. When I told her I will be coming on Monday to exchange the car she said she couldn't offer the exchange as they had no cars. This is unbelievable, I am so disgusted with the unprofessional service. I asked the manager how they can even offer customers the car with illegally tinted windows and so filthy and if I receive the citation will her company refund the money. Christine told me that they wouldn't reimburse me if I received the citation. I can't believe the fact that the company can even offer a car in this condition to anyone. Please stay away and go somewhere else.I am returning this car first thing on Monday morning as they closed today at 3 and are closed tomorrow.

Bad place for business, they have a bunch of shady business, your given a dirty car with things missing on them and a bunch of dings and scratches so if you don’t pay attention to how you got it I’m sure they will try to charge you for it. Also I recieved the car at a different mileage then they had on the receipt luckily I took a picture of the mileage before moving the car and knew that was wrong because they were trying to charge me 150 extra for miles I didn’t drive. Car also had dash lights go on and off to the point I decided to drop off the car early due to just the sketchiness of the business and car which I also got charged 50 dollars for. And extra 35 dollars for an after hour fee when the store was stated open and there was mechanics working aswell…. I absolutely do not recommend the New Britain branch to anyone looking to rent a car, take your time and business elsewhere.
