“What a truly amazing experience. My wife and I had such a great time with Peter. He was very informative and educational during the whole process. My wife had a smile on her face the entire time except when she focused on making the best piece of glass art she could. Everything came out beautifully thanks to Peter’s guidance and instruction. I would highly recommend Greenwood Glass Blowing to anyone interested in a truly unique and exciting experience.”
“"It was just my imagination Runnin' away with me" (The Temptations) Imagination Art Skill Creative Vision Entrepreneurship All of these human talents and attributes collide big time inside the massive Whiting Mills Complex. Here you'll find artist studios, shops, businesses and classes occupying an ancient brick factory building to transform it into a center for artistic, community, and social events. There are close to 60 tenants inside the complex - artists of every description, a photography studio, specialty shops featuring kitchen and bath items, candles, baskets, silver creations, clothing, jewelry, stairs and woodworking items, health and well being products, even a ferrier selling horse shoes and horse supplies. I love the way that so many old cities have reclaimed old mill buildings and gave them new life using this model. You will definitely enjoy wandering the long hallways and exploring the shops inside Whiting Mills.”
“I took a pattern sewing class with Linda. I was very impressed how Linda could manage and teach such a class with varying experience! She is patient and very knowledgeable. I left learning much more than what I had come in with. Thank you Linda!”
“Always a delightful experience to visit and browse the creative and beautiful co-op filled with amazing artisans work. Helpful customer service and so accommodating. Have bought art pieces many times.”
“Lovely exhibit space, well lit, high ceilings and airy feeling.
Long staircase with bannister to the second floor. They’re hoping for an elevator eventually.
Pretty building.”
“After driving by for years, I finally took a class at Canton Clay Works—and five years later, I’m still coming weekly. It’s more than a studio; it’s a creative, welcoming community for all skill levels.
With generous open studio time, great teachers, and ongoing workshops, there is room here for every niche. So much choice with different clay bodies, beautiful glazes, gas kilns, wood firings (others travel far for them!). Tim is an artist that has created a space where other people’s creativity can genuinely shine. I adore my teacher, the studio manager, and especially the studio puppy (Pippin the Welsh Springer Spaniel). The grounds are beautiful too, with a peaceful stream out back.
I’m so glad I finally walked through the door.”
“Chris is great. I signed up for a beginner class to learn how to make stained glass. He’s very talented and a great teacher. He helped me come up with my design pattern and gives great feedback. I would recommend his class to anyone looking to learn the skill.”
