About Chapel Haven Schleifer Center, Inc.
Chapel Haven Schleifer Center empowers adults with social and developmental disabilities (Intellectual & Developmental Disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorders, Down Syndrome) to live independent and self-determined lives, Chapel Haven serves more than 250 adults (18 years of age and older) in the residence and the community with three distinct programs: Residential Education at CH (REACH), Autism Supports and Transition (ASAT) and Connecting Adults to Chapel Haven (CATCH). Through an intensive, state-approved education curriculum, adults are guided through all aspects of independent living and prepared for a future in which they can live robust and independent adult lives.

This place has the great education to help people with autism and to live on their own. I made so many friends and I have the greatest experience.

Chapel Haven transformed my son Who is in the high end of the autism Spectrum. Halfway through a program at Chapel Haven, he has gained enormous confidence, basic skills and importantly, friends in an environment where he has felt for the first time, comfortable and wanted.
