Nica's Market is a gourmet market offering fine foods and catering. It provides an overwhelming array of specialty food items, including many food options, sandwiches, pre-made pastas, salads, and gelato ice creams described as exceptional. The sandwiches, like the cowgirl panini or chicken cutlet, are often found delicious and impressive, giving old-world city mart vibes. Prices are noted as more affordable and good compared to other places. The experience can be inconsistent. Service is quick overall, but waits are very long and the deli counter can require assertive attention; one order was never made after a wait. The space itself has cramped aisles, a crowded parking lot, and no bathrooms. There is a nice little area to sit outside. A point of frustration is outdated posted pricing, with sandwiches ringing up higher than listed.
Nica's Market makes amazing sandwiches, if they are made by someone who grew up eating sandwiches. If not, god help you. You just need to be careful and if matched by the wrong person, order lasagna or something.

Placed order and waited 10 minutes for a sandwich they never even made. Waits are very long and you have to be aggressive with at the deli to get anything. Good for produce and some groceries. Prices are good, but you get what you pay for.
