I enjoyed all the Scandinavian and Celtic products in there! I myself bought a Scotland patch and a Celtic Triskelion necklace. Very pleased! We were walking around in there for a good 30 minutes.. or more! The vibe is amazing and I highly recommend you check it out!”

“Raining Cats & Dogs is a fun store for anyone who is a lover of furry friends, or you may find a special treat to get for one here. There is everything here, and for every breed. You'll find stickers, keychains, towels, hats and socks, all of it for dog owners, by breed. They have leashes, collars, toys, snacks, special birthday treats and hats.The dog section is much larger then the cat section. There just might be more dog owners in the world. There's even a gift section dedicated to dogs that are no longer with us.Everything is in this store, many things I never knew existed. Any dog (or cat) lover would be thrilled to receive something from this small business.”

“This is my husband's and son's favorite bookstore. When we visit Mystic they actually go every day! They have all kinds of good reads for every interest. Recently, it was expanded to include two large rooms. The front room features new releases and popular, classic novels among others. The room proceeding it features academic subjects such as politics, history, economics, etc. The atmosphere provides a sense of calm, which coincides nicely with the already relaxed atmosphere of Mystic. Before the store itself is a statue of a whale, a hallmark that can be found throughout Connecticut, just as shell statues can be found throughout New Jersey. With beautiful editions of books of every variety, you will not be disappointed!”

“Walked into the store. Kind of hoping to get something for my dad and we walked out with more than we thought we would. The prices are pretty reasonable especially for what you're getting and the ladies were pretty nice even though I think the young one was a little upset that we asked to feel the heaviness of the money clip. The selection was perfect and I love that they even had some candy from Ireland and the price was just right. I would definitely be back”

I enjoyed browsing the store with my "man" and ended up getting a great birthday gift for my son. They have lots of nautical themed items, along with books, clothes and more.
