The beach is a beautiful and peaceful place. It is clean, small and family friendly. Soft sand and super quiet water was the perfect temperature. Benches near the boardwalk and a park up the hill there is place to relax. The concrete boardwalk walkway is immaculately maintained and you can walk a mile each way on the boardwalk. Parking is very easy with a fee of $45 or free street parking for $20 and $55 is. Outside sprinklers, clean bathrooms and outdoor showers to rinse off sand. The beach is great for children and the sand is soft. No lifeguards but the locals working to keep it beautiful.

This is a sweet little beach and boardwalk. Free parking with plenty of spots when I went, though it was an overcast spring day, so it might get a lot busier when the weather is great. Nice views of Niantic Bay with Long Island visible on the horizon. Perfect place for a long walk.
