Super fun little beach just big enough to play on, find seashells, and splash in the water! Lovely path for walking and a nice grassy area for picnics or sitting on the benches to look at the water.

I grew up in Niantic, and this was not here at the time. I went back to visit for the first time in over 20 years, and the new high speed electric train rail and the boardwalk is INCREDIBLE. The boardwalk is great fun with great views of the Bay. Lots of benches and a good walk along the boardwalk that'll give you some great exercise while enjoying the views. You can keep walking past the boardwalk onto McCooks Point beach, which is also quite lovely.

This beach was okay. It's a small beach which is good but the water isn't the clearest. Actually, when you go in the water, there is a bunch of seaweed by your feet, and another bunch that might sneak up behind you, so watch out for that. There is no food on the beach, but there's a lot of restaurants in the neighborhood. They have an outside shower but no changing room. The fee to park is $50.I would recommend going to Rock Neck Beach instead. That's on the other side.Overall, it's not bad.

Limited to seeing this place cause my dog could not enter and monitors were placed at entry point. New boardwalk built after hurricane Irene used federal money so everyone is allowed to enter.

Lovely place to walk (for free) or soak on the sun and beach (for 40 bucks, and 20 bucks after 4pm). Didn’t find out whether you can park on the street, just walk to the beach and get in for free, but if anyone goes and find out please let us know, thanks!

This a Beautiful, paved walkway with many benches to enjoy the views. Beach area is very small. Additional sand walking path with some elevation not paved but also with great views. Nice & clean bathrooms at entrance.

$50 to park there as we are from Minnesota is outrageous. It's completely not worth it. I assumed it would mean a clean beach and bathrooms- I was wrong. I love the beach and ynderdtand paid parking but this goes too far... just for us to walk on the beach was $15 a person. It's NATURE. Let us be in nature without trying to capitalize from it.

Quintessential east coast beach experience. Overcrowded and tiny, no surf or swimming area, fantastic view of the nuclear power plant across the bay, the regular passage of the Amtrak trains helps you keep track of time. But still a beach on the ocean so... 3 stars, recommend if you have to be here.
