“Don't trust your car to anyone else! I found this shop thru a desperate Google search, back in Nov-Dec 2023, when all the shops my insurance company directed me to were booked well into the New Year! They had a higher rating than just about every other garage within a 25 mile search area.
So I called Absolute Auto Body and they took my car the next day. I am so glad they were able to fit me in! This shop does high quality work, pays their employees a fair wage, and they use only high quality replacement parts! In addition to the cosmetic repairs, they also found some structural damage my insurance adjustor missed, and my insurance company agreed to pay for those additional repairs! My car is now safer, and it looks brand new! Since then, I've found (by remarks from local friends), that I actually chose one of the best body shops in the New London area! Owners Mike and Danielle are fair, honest, and a pleasure to do business with! They keep you updated on the status of the repair, and it was completed in a timely manner!
If you need collision repair work, don't waste your time with the insurance companies' "direct repair centers!" I highly recommend you call Absolute Auto Body FIRST! You'll be glad you did! I know I certainly am!”

“The nice man (I think he’s the owner I didn’t get his name sorry) looked at my side mirror and put it back into place with his hands and said someone bumped it but it was nice that he did that and he said he was a fair man. “I HIGHLY recommend this shop. It's a family owned joint, with multiple members of the family working there on a given day. I am from out of town, and they gratuitously fit me in for some brake work so I could get back home. They were so kind, transparent, and communicative. They also have some great future advice to take home with me to my regular shop. I wish I was more local, I would come to them for all my car repairs!”

“Dan and Bills is not closed as Yelp states. In fact, they are almost always open! A previous review also cited a "secretary". They do not have one. Over 15 years I have taken various cars there and they have always been forthright telling me what issue is now, what needs to be done now or for the long term. They always check out the car so you are made aware of other issues. Extremely knowledgeable about cars. Almost any brand. They do the repairs themselves, so maybe it takes longer for them to get the parts and do the work than a larger facility. But, they are far less expensive. So, if you can drop off for something like brakes, it is worth it. I have pulled in there with a thing in a tire twice and they just pulled it out for $5, pumped it up and told me how all my tires were doing. There is no waiting area or anything fancy- it is just a garage with 2 guys who love fixing cars.”

“Genius that I am, I locked myself out of my car and left both sets of keys and fobs and my cellphone in the car. On a Saturday morning, I was fortunate that a real live person at Columbus Sq Auto answered my call from someone else's cellphone. The gentleman at Columbus Square Auto said he would arrive in 15 or 20 minutes, and in 15 minutes there he was in his tow truck! Jimmied open my car door in less than 2 minutes, and charged me only $60. Highway Generosity! Thank you!”
