“Lovely staff, very helpful. Went above and beyond in their tracking down an item for me that wasn't out on the sale floor with the other colors of the same item. Store is a bit unorganized seeming, but that's a bit expected for the genre of store it is, haha. Went in not expecting much success in my adventures in trying to furnish a new apartment due to not having much luck in previously visited stores, but very pleasantly surprised as I managed to find and leave with multiple items I've been hoping to find.”

“Adorable little shop with home goods and a handful of souvenirs if you were here to look at the Thimble Islands. Today the shop was manned by a couple of sweet young girls. I was thinking about getting a t-shirt and wasn't quite sure if it fit me. No fitting room, but a couple of hours later I tried it on and it didn't quite fit, so they happily took it back and refunded it on my card.”
“I found Jaime’s Vintage Restorations shop last year when I needed a mold A.S.A.P. She had exactly what I needed, I ended up spending an hour and a half in her store because of her knowledge that she had for restoring any type of furniture that you could imagine. She taught me so much that day. I decided to take a class and I have been taking classes ever since. Jamie is not just an owner of a brick and mortar shop for IOD’s and other products. She has compassion for what she does and that shows in everything she creates.”

This store is insane, awesome prices, HUGE selection of items and crafts. And the staff is lovely and helpful. “We've been doing business with Ken at Close to Home for many years. All of our Hunter Douglas window treatments are from them. Ken helped me pick out the right products for our home and installed them all. He's always been available if something needs fixing too. Excellent customer service and very knowledgeable. He was always on time and easy to work with. I had to run in to pick up a blind they fixed for us and noticed they sold vacuums too! I mentioned to Paul, the owner, that my vacuum was acting up. He graciously told me to bring it in and he would check it out. They ended up servicing it and it's working great now. When we're ready for a new Sebo, we'll get it there. Authentic customer service goes a long way these days, much appreciated, thank you Paul & Ken...”
