“Super friendly store owner!! Beautiful collection of jewelry, art, clothes, and trinkets. Very beautiful gallery in the back as well as assorted scent items and jewelry. Prices were very reasonable and the store owner was very open to negotiating, I got some crazy steals!! Highly recommended and would totally come again.”
“I needed a reputable company that I could rely on to come and clean out my Moms estate and sell the contents. I called a bunch of places and most never returned my call or wanted a ridiculous amount of money for the cleanout. I called Bobby and he came over to the house within an hour and walked through and provided me with a solid cleanout and sale strategy at a very reasonable price. Since I did not live in the same state as the property, it was especially important that I hire someone I could trust to come and go as needed and ensure that the house was secure when they left. I felt completely comfortable with Bobby and his Team the entire time. Additionally, Bobby has multiple exit strategies for the sale of the estate items. Rather than relying on just having an Estate Sale at the house, he instead uses online auctions, FB Marketplace, a Storefront, Flea Markets, and networking to take advantage of every opportunity to sell the estate items. I highly recommend Bobby and his Team at Seems Like Yesterday to handle the cleanout and sale of your family's estate.”
“Evelyn was so kind & helpful throughout the entire experience. My friend & I found out about this place through a recommendation & was truly not disappointed. The atmosphere was gorgeous, unique, & intentionality crafted. It was like walking into a decades memorabilia. I can't wait to attend the events that Evelyn spoke about that she has sometimes! Otherwise, I truly think it's a space to find items that have character & you wouldn't find anywhere else!”
“A beautiful store filled with all sorts of memorabilia, appliances, clothing, media, and more from the 20th Century and sometimes other older stuff! Walking into this store is like walking into a time capsule; There is so much to find you could get lost for hours trying to spot everything! The merchandise is well taken care of, despite the sheer amount of merchandise the store is easily navigable and open, and the staff are polite, courteous, and knowledgeable about many of the wares' history!Overall, even if it's just to immerse yourself in the beauty of the past, this store is worth stopping into! Everything is fairly priced, and there's a clearance rack that pops up from time to time!”
“My first visit since Loved Boutique moved to their new location. Easy to find on Branford Hill directly behind Five Guys. As soon as I walked into this gorgeous boutique I knew immediately I would find my size in clothing. Beautifully set up!! Isa went above and beyond providing superior customer service. I love shopping this boutique, thank you Isa!”

“A friend of mine told me about this place, and I need to hit him up and thank him. I brought in a bunch of clothing donations and ended up buying a bunch of stuff while I was there. There is so much I loved and the prices are very fair, and the owner and people that work there are wicked awesome.
100% will be coming here many more times in the future. ?”
“Shop run by volunteers, they’re all nice and happy to let you look at something behind glass (some jewelry, more expensive decorative things)Besides that, you’ll find some of everything here - housewares, accessories, crafting things, children’s section etc! They take cards. Check the price tags, if something has been there for more than a month, it’s half off.”
“I had the pleasure of visiting Renee's recently and had such a wonderful experience. Was blown away by the selection Renee has curated and the value that can be found here! And Renee of course is such a hoot to talk to and so helpful with any questions, will be back soon!”
“I was deeply impressed by the cleanliness of the store and quality of the garments that I purchased.
I recently purged my wardrobe and was in deep need of gently used quality items. I walked away with 17 pieces for an incredible price! These items will age beautifully and define my wardrobe to come.
Very impressed.”
“I love this place! I have found some one of a kind pieces of jewelery here & I am now addicted to visit as often as possible to check out what they have?”
“This thrift store is amazing. The prices are fantastic. The customer service is outstanding. I had a great time with the ladies that work there. I highly recommend this thrift store.”
“While there used to be a Salvation Army where I live (Vernon, now closed forever), I know there are still other stores like these scattered all over CT.
I trekked to Hamden earlier this year and when I went here, they had some cool stuff.
I found a couple of good things that I liked. The clothing selection is decent, book selections are a little iffy. There's literally so much space that could be used to keep merchandise in these areas. Service is really good.
I think this Salvation Army is better than other ones I've been to.”
“I stopped in yesterday to sell some items and was greeted very politely by Paul, the owner, which immediately put me at ease as this was the first time I had been to Amento’s and was unsure of what to expect. Well, I must say that this was a very positive experience and I was very pleased with the outcome. Paul was very informative and shared some of his knowledge as we proceeded with the sale which was very enlightening. If I need to sell any more items of the many things he takes in, I will definitely be back. It was a pleasure doing business with you, Paul!”
