“We had our wedding at NHCC in July 2025 and it was exceptional. The facilities and grounds were perfect for what we needed and envisioned, and Karissa was the person who brought the day together for us. She was extremely responsive, kind, and detail-oriented throughout the entire planning process. The setup and breakdown of our vendors (e.g., chairs, florals, etc.) was something I didn't need to worry about after coordinating the details beforehand. Everyone on-site just really took care of everything and made a stressful day truly stress-free. On the day of, the waitstaff/bar staff/etc. were extremely efficient and everyone had a smile on their faces. It was noticeable, and it made for a fun, energetic, and organized vibe. The grounds are immaculate and our wedding was truly beautiful. The patio for cocktail hour couldn't have been better. The dining space came together beautifully and they followed our vision for the setup and decor. We had a band for the reception, and the large room was the perfect party space. It could not have been a better night and we will recommend NHCC to anyone who is looking for excellent service for their important event. Thank you!!!”

“We held our church anniversary gathering there today. The main pavilion was spacious and clean. The basketball and pickle ball courts were set up and in great shape. The pool was clean, well staffed and safe. The open space was well manicured. The staff that greeted us were friendly and helpful. Great experience overall.”

“I had booked an event for this past Sunday the hall and venue were really nice owner was great did appease all that was needed for that day of course had a lot of planning that was involved but they were very understanding and covered pretty much all the necessities he gave me a good deal for the space so happy everything came together was an awesome night thank you for making this day special for my daughters Sweet16...went without a hitch satisfied customer and holds up 100 people plenty of room private parking too was the perfect spot...”

“The Schwarzman Center at Yale is a recent repurposing of two legacy buildings at the heart of campus: the Commons Dining Hall and Memorial Hall, easily recognizable thanks to its dome. It expands the two spaces so that they serve as a student center of sorts, with the goal of bringing community members together over dining, meeting spaces, and the arts.Besides the Commons and Memorial Hall, new spaces and venues include a convenience store, a dance studio, a 21+ pub, function facilities, performance spaces, public art galleries, and study nooks. When I ventured inside to grab a drink on a sunny, warm day spent exploring campus, I found the space vibrant and well-trafficked, particularly in newer eateries with communal seating. The Commons itself, however, appeared to be a grab-and-go affair either due to ongoing Covid measures or due to renovation.Given that it was a nice day, however, students were more likely to head outside than linger indoors.”

“We have lived in East Haven since 2016 and just tried coming here for the first time this year. We have been back almost daily for 3 months and will continue to come for as long as we can thanks to Jeremy. Jeremy has gone so far above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and happy. Giving us little tips and tricks to do better but always making us feel right at home. Because of Jeremy we bought a summer pass and then bought 4 of our friends passes as well. We all love it. We’ve had our birthday parties here and we love it. Thank you Jeremy for making this such a great experience we can’t wait for the next season!”

“Nice venue. But I wish you could use cash to make purchases. Having to put a bottle of water on a credit card is ridiculous when you would prefer to use the cash in your pocket.”

“This is a great venue for a small to medium size event. We had an event there and we were a medium size group of about 154 and I will say that we were almost on top of one another. It was a tight fit. This without dancing space. So keep that in mind.

Clean, great kitchen and bar space. Limited parking space, most guests parked in the street.”

“My buddy and I played today and were pleasantly surprised. Night and day from a couple years ago. Not only was the course in great shape (better than some expensive courses recently) but the staff was super nice and welcoming. Obviously still updating and in the middle of construction but you can tell it’s moving in the right direction. We’ll be back!”

“We go to this location quite a bit. We purchased the summer season pass which has already paid for itself. Two games and shoes are included in the pass which is more than enough. The check in staff are very friendly and the wait staff are also very nice. We go here with our teenager and her friend. It is always a nice time.”

“This review is only about the hotel and my great experience at the hotel. I am not giving a bad review like other reviewers based on the entire neighborhood. I do agree that the neighborhood is a bit on the undesirable side with all the young thugs, noise at night and the vagrants lounging around in public. This I feel is not the hotels fault and they shouldn't be having their name dragged down because of it. If people have issues then they should be contacting law enforcement.

I stayed here for a couple of nights cause I wanted to check out a few of the free museums and sample some New Haven pizza. I think the hotel itself is in a great location where it is close to all points of interest and the staff here is absolutely wonderful. Kaylee checked me in and she very friendly and helpful. My room on the 11th floor was very clean and spacious with a nice view of the city from my window. My bed was comfortable and their was plenty of hot water. No issues there. The lobby is a bit old fashioned, but to me it was charming.

Self parking is $25 and valet is $30 a day. It is a bit steep, but that is pretty standard nowadays since street parking is pretty hard to find. The garage is a bit dark, but you can get around. The hotel has a fitness center on the 3rd floor and a lovely restaurant/bar on the 19th. In the lobby they also have a small café/gift shop and the ladies behind the counter were super nice.

Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and I look forward to staying here again in the future. I wasn't going to let the negativity of other reviewers scare me from staying here...I am a Brooklyn girl with thick skin and I am used to far worse where I live.”

“So I was driving from Roanoke Virginia to Cape Cod this week and looked on Google Maps for a room, soon as I saw Baymont by Wyndham I clicked call because Google said I could get a room for $80.00 plus tax which compared to all the others I knew would be worth it since we only needed it for about 10 hours, the only thing that bothered me was the door to the room seemed old and had a half inch gap between it and the frame , it squeaked pretty loud too, other than that the room was absolutely perfect and the dude at the front desk, same guy that answered the phone 3 hours before I got there guaranteed the price and was very polite , quick, easy going, and we were checked in less than 2 minutes after arriving in the parking lot. This little hotel will be my go-to on my next trips to Massachusetts.. got a good night's sleep, plenty of hot water, no bugs, no zombies begging outside, and no noisy neighbors, in fact it was so quiet I thought we were there alone... yup. Definitely will go back.”
