We live about an hour away, but the trip is always worth it. The folks here are incredibly knowledgeable about all things ceramic. It’s a charming, small shop with an impressive selection of glazes, clay, equipment, and other potters’ goodies, and their attentiveness is much appreciated. They really take the time to listen to your needs, offering expertise and solutions to any problems. If you need a kiln repaired or DIY advice, they’re more than willing to help. As ceramicists, we highly recommend the Rusty Kiln. And if you visit in the fall, don’t miss the reservoir walking path that runs alongside the airport—it’s absolutely stunning!

Great place to get pottery supplies and the front desk ladies are the best. One of my favorite places to visit.

The Rusty Kiln is a store that stocks clay, glaze and also offers classes. The receptionist was very helpful with glaze knowledge. I will purchase from them again.

These folks are the absolute BEST! Every experience I've had with them reflects an extraordinary level of expertise and integrity and a kindness beyond measure. They are fair, honest and knowledgeable and no company out there can compare to them! I would trust them with any problem analysis and subsequent repair. Their service and reputation is unsurpassed. Thank you Rusty Kiln!

Couldn't have been more pleased with our recent trip to The Rusty Kiln! Owner was amazingly helpful and sweet as can be. Bought new clay, glaze, a wall mount extruder (!!!), and some odds and ends. Could have stayed and perused the shop for hours. My new supplier has been found.

Rusty Kiln has been my go-to shop for clay, glazes and tools. If I need a wheel or other pottery making items, I would always call them first. Not only are they so well versed and informed on the areas of clay, glaze & everything they sell; they are such a pleasure to work with. Always responsive and willing to aid in any request. I am very fortunate to have them close by!

Drove over 20 miles on a day Google said they’d be open, and they were closed. No where I search said they’d be closed. Not to mention Google says they open at 10, but other sources say 11? Will not be revisiting since you’ll never know if they will be open. Not worth the drive.

Quality and quantity of products is good. However, you never know if they will actually be open. Drove 20+ miles when Google says they'll be open, and they were closed. Another potter I know had the same thing happen. Will not be revisiting since you don't actually know if they will be open.

Great place to get really good Clay and Kilms here! Very friendly. They also service Kilms. Family owned and operated. They serve all over New England! They help schools get ton's and ton's of clay for student's to make true art with the best clay around! My father was best friends with them before he past away in 2014. Les, Pam, Mike and Jeff your all the most awesome people. I appreciate all you did to provide clay for my blind father. He really really loved those statues he made with passion.
