“We stopped in yesterday for the first time. We needed a couple of plants and we were really impressed. They have a lot of plants and flowers and a nice variety. Everything is so healthy!! The plants are well organized so it’s easy to find what you’re looking for. Vivian helped us find the right plants for the conditions that they will be in. Besides plants and flowers they have both bulk and bagged mulch. They also have a farm stand. It’s easy to get to and plenty of parking. Will definitely be back.”
“We were greeted by a friendly man directing traffic and parking. The store was fully stocked (unlike a nearby farm store we had just visited). We bought 4 large mum's for $20, some apple cider donuts, and some snacks and cider. Very reasonable prices. There was a tractor for photos, a covered area with around 5 (maybe more) large picnic tables. There's a you pick area directly behind the store, (and maybe others I didn't check). HAY WAGON RIDES! Everyone was friendly and seemed happy. A very nice experience.”
“We had a great time this afternoon at Farmer Wayne’s beautiful orchard picking McIntosh, Calhoun, Liberty, and Cortland apples! We brought our five children along- they were delighted by the easy to reach apples and by the chestnuts scattering the ground. We filled a 20 pound bag with apples, and also went home with organic potatoes (that Wayne had dug up moments before), eggplant, garlic and seed garlic, onions and apple cider. He also had pear cider that he had pressed yesterday, but we were out of money at that point! We are truly thankful to find an organic farm like this one in Connecticut that cares about the health of its customers and of the soil, rather than just making a buck. They have great prices and we are so happy to buy as much as we can from them! God bless High Hill Orchard!”

“Beautiful, fresh farm produce. Bought some field-grown tomatoes. Also some fresh figs- ate one in the parking lot before I left. Delicious. Got some Ciabatta bread and Italian plums. Associates are friendly and efficient. They have lots more too.7/23 Fruits of the Forest pie was Fresh and Delicious! Large tasty tomatoes, orange peppers, a large canteloupe and ripe peaches! Friendly associates too. Thank you- love this place...not to mention they have a huge selection of flowering and vegetable plants too.10/16 Great veggies- corn, tomatoes, red onion and apples today. Àpple pie çould use some cinamon / more flavor.”

“Went there to see if they still sold lunch sandwiches like they did over 20 years ago. Was surprised they did stop that but they still sell baked goods and have a good some nice plants.”
“Join their CSA this year. So far so good. They allow for customization of boxes, which is in theory. Really nice, but so far everything that I've wanted to swap for has been not available. And the stuff in the farm store is kind of expensive, and one of the workers was carrying around a baby chick, which is adorable and I thought was really cute when I was there, but then on my drive home I was like and she's got this live animal around all of this fresh produce and things that are meant to be consumed without cooking them again, I think maybe it's not a good idea.”

“Aldi has everyday deals on top of weekly sales, & most items are cheaper than similar stores. They have fruits, canned & packaged goods, dairy, etc that are hard to find even at larger chains, too. There's ample parking, plenty of shopping carts, & friendly cashiers that make the shopping experience enjoyable.”

“The horse rides here are awesome. The pies are obviously delicious. The gelato? Out of this world. Make sure to come early if it is a weekend of importance or they are holding an event because even though the place is huge it can fill up extremely fast!”

“Good prices on some products, need to be aware of prices on products at other stores. Do seem to have some keto alternatives that other stores don't have. Usually can find a deal on some sort of protein to make for a meal, helps if you are flexible. Some interesting German goods from time to time. Found some keto friendly protein puffs I've never seen before, going to be a interesting try.”

“Picking your own apples is a fun experience. If you haven't tried Mutsu/ Crispin apples, then you're missing out. There were plenty of apples left on the trees all within arms reach after moving branches out of the way. Some of the apples weighed over 1lb each‼️Yum, yum.?”
“The staff are very courteous and the butcher will cut up your meat , very kind. Clean place, yet needs more Caribbean products. They didn't have green bananas for cooking and no real Jamaican fresh hot peppers. They should begin selling red stripe flavored beer like NYC”
“during the week before Christmas I had a Doctors appointment so was in New Haven and Hadn't been to the N haven store and while I typically wouldn't Go to N Haven I decided I'd go and also stop in to BJ's and renew my card there as membership had been discounted so I went into Ferraro's Market and did some looking around was looking for Maine Lobster Tails as advertised in the Holiday flyer I didnt find them so I asked at the counter and sure enough They had the size I was looking for and My purchase was made Awesome!!”
