“Lowe's tends to have more in stock than the Home Depot nearby. At least the household things we need. They're very helpful in the store, but we usually do store pickup. Occasionally, we do curbside pickup for heavy items like 10 - 40lb bags of salt for our water softener. Our order is quickly ready for pickup and someone brings it over and loads it into the car within minutes. I would have a hard time doing this on my own, so it's amazing that they provide curbside for heavy and bulky items. At some point I won't even check Home Depot, because they rarely have what I need. In my experience, Lowe's tends to have more options, but they also tend to be a bit pricier.”
“I love this Home Depot, I've never had any issues here (unlike Stamford's location). I will say, the layout in Stamford is better and easier to navigate. However, we were able to find what we needed and were even assisted with help (because climbing on shelves is frowned upon). This location is clean and well stocked and the employees are friendly and helpful.”

“Fantastic customer service and attention. Usually businesses that work b2b (mostly with contractors) are intimidating not very attentive or patient with direct consumers. These guys are the opposite. They seem to immediately notice you and try to understand what you need. They take the time to explain and inform you about important details.....ironically, much more knowledgeable than a contractor who is doing the job.”
