Gallaher Mansion and Cranbury Park is a beautiful place year-round with lovely trails, a large open field, and beautiful walkways. The wooded paths are well marked and relatively clear, suitable for running and walking. The park includes a playground for kids, a nice dog park area, and a paved path encircling the field that is somewhat stroller friendly. It is a popular spot for activities like disc golf, with a wonderful community. The location is also a lovely spot for photography, hosting weddings, engagement photos, family sessions, and other events. It offers various features from the mansion itself to the trees, large open space with huge stairs, and exceptional foliage in the fall. Visitors enjoy the friendly atmosphere, though some note that unsupervised dogs off-leash can be an issue, and the dog park can get extremely muddy after rain or snow.
Been running & walking these beautiful trails for almost ten years. One of my favorite places to visit when I’m in Norwalk. Sometimes I wish people leashed their dogs more, but I’ve never had a problem.

Beautiful place year-round! The trails are well marked and relatively clear most of the time. Nice little playground for kids and a nice dog park area (although it can get extremely muddy after a fair amount of rain or melting snow!!).
