Lady at register heckled me about a price on a beat up pair of shorts claiming it had the wrong price tag. Get a life mrs. goodwill police. Never coming back, hopefully it goes out of business.

Filled out an application and the person that called me had a really bad attitude (a Black female) being very rude to me so therefore I no longer had interest in the place/position itself.

This water is cheaper new from CVS. Once again goodwill of Fairfield county is jacking up the prices. It looks like someone left this in the store. Nasty.

I feel as though there's no point in buying something used when I can get it for the same price new. I think Goodwills prices are ridiculous and after working for the company years ago and seeing how much money comes through their doors there's no reason prices should be what they are. I've been to a majority of the goodwill stores in ct and Norwalk has the highest prices to me. I'm a single mom living check to check why would I want to leave goodwill with the mindset that I can't even afford used clothes. Your companies prices are affecting some people in more ways than one.And then at check out you ask to "round up" I think you've rounded up enough....

The manager Sharon is very rude, I usually buy from this store because it is close to my house, but this is the second time I have had a bad experience with her and I am not the only one who complains, because I have heard many customers complain about her. The cashier asked Sharon if that was the correct price, to which she said that is not the price and she assumed I changed it. How about I ask her for proof of what she's saying? I told the cashier she has to check on cameras before saying things that are not true! She should be more careful what she says in front of the client. She should also be careful before taking out the clothes, to make sure the prices are correct, and then not be telling the client that they change prices without having proof of what she says. This is not the first time she has done that. This never happens with the other managers, only with her!

The store was clean, prices were better than at some other goodwills. The employees are very curtious and attentive

Too expensive. Waste of time. Better to go to normal store, prices will be same. Only books are priced reasonably. Love books.

This store is on my way home from work so I stop in a few times a month. The setup is nice, but the prices are at or above retail prices. Mall-brand shirts for 10 bucks? Old CD players for 25 bucks? Every time I find something I gasp at the price.I noticed in the comments for these reviews the store said they price according to "fair market value" and use Ebay listed/sold items to determine this. Why would I buy something at Goodwill for Ebay prices when I could just buy it on Ebay and have it delivered to me AND have 30 day returns? Goodwill offers no returns on items and only 2 days on electronics. It seems to me the store is catering its pricing to the more affluent neighboring towns and doesn't cater to the people of Norwalk. I would suggest sending your donations to a locally owned thrift store or church before ever donating to this greedy corporate company.

The Norwalk Goodwill store tops all the local Fairfield county GW shops by far!!! I know cause I’ve been to Stamford and Westport and Norwalk has the lowest prices and the best hidden gems! I have been shopping here for 7 years and have found some amazing things for the home and clothing.I have found two gorgeous Della Robia hand crafted in Italy Madonna and Child large circular wall art for $8 and $10!!! They start at least at $180 on up!!! So beautiful and real treasures for the home. I have found an almost new couch and loveseat for $69!!! What a steal and looked almost brand new!!! I have found countless children’s books and clothing that is designer name brands much of it new. LL Bean, Lands End, J. crew and Vineyard Vine’s. Really great stuff at a fraction of the cost of these expensive and overpriced retail stores.Goodwill is by far the way to go!!! And yes there is junk to be sure, so when you find the hidden gem it is so exciting!!! Worth a look for those who will dare the racks and brave the onslaught of junk to find the treasures!!! You will not find a better deal anywhere else.I’ve been shopping here for years and all of the employees are helpful, kind and do the best they can. I also love that Goodwill employs people who may have handicaps and trials in life. Good for them for doing this and I like supporting a store that tries to help others. Goodwill is indeed “Good”!

Every time I go there, I get a headache trying to read the book titles on the top two shelves. They should reconfigure the shelves for easier browsing. Otherwise the store is ok

All the items are donated, prices should not be high. I believe the employers bring their own items and mixed with donated items and try selling, so they can get profit , and that would be a scamm, I also believe the employee and employer check the prices online for most of the donated items and try selling the prices as are listed online, that's not fair. I go to that place because I have not enough money but sometimes there are items that cost a lot and that is not cool.. prices should be cheaper ...and not as the same or even higher as may find them online

Stopped here this afternoon to donate toys and a LOT of clothing (All really nice stuff we've grown out of) The receiving associate rolled his eyes when I asked nicely how I could help transfer the clothes in since there was too much to fit in one bin. He took the toys, ignored my question completely and proceeded to help other donors. :( I left after a few minutes of waiting. Sorry to the locals that could've used what we have.

I definitely won’t be coming back to this store anymore. This is the second time in two weeks I’ve had a bad experience. First time had to over hear some racial comments about Spanish people and how we don’t understand English and we have to rushed to shop. I called the next day and spoke to a manager and thankfully she was very nice and understanding and made me feel heard. So that made me give them another chance to continue shopping there. but when I went again and had the cashier who laughed at her co workers racial joke about Spanish people, she made me feel like I did something wrong. Me and my mom were only getting one thing and when she looked at the sticker prove she assumed we put a lower sticker price on it which we did not. We got the item because we needed it and the price and a good one. She then said I have to go check the price and when she came back she said ok it’s good. And I asked her what the problem was and she brushed me off and said nothing. So I feel like she just wanted to do that to be annoying cause I’ve never seen any goodwill worker do that. So I will for now on go to the Stamford stores and will never go back to Norwalk goodwill. Completely disrespectful and uncomfortable.
