This was by far the worst rental car experience I’ve ever had. A Black male employee at the Hertz Norwalk location was extremely unprofessional, dismissive, and made me feel that I was treated differently because of my race. His behavior was unacceptable for any customer service role, especially at a company like Hertz. This employee openly ignored me and disrespected me, and it strongly felt like discrimination. He should not be allowed to deal with customers, and I believe management must take immediate action. I left feeling humiliated, and I will never return to this location.

This Hertz has not responded to multiple attempts from my insurance company regarding reimbursement for the money I paid toward car repair costs. This stems from an accident where one of their employees was at fault for hitting my vehicle. Their continued lack of response is delaying the resolution of my claim and has made the process unnecessarily frustrating.

Hertz in Norwalk just recently has a new person working for them named Sal. He is the most incredible person, helpful, great attitude and when I was late past HERTZ work hours he offered to stay open until I got there. Usually people don't do enough during work hours and there is Sal doing above and beyond work hours. I hope HERTZ recognizes his effort and value he brings to this branch as it's very unusual these days to expect this.... unfortunately!!! Thanks for your help!

I was able to get a car while my vehicle was being repaired without any issues. They picked me up and dropped me off from work and everything was easy and convenient.

Just called the office to ask about an availability of a rental that I saw through the website (which NEVER gets updated) and the attendant barely let me finish speaking and said in a not so friendly tone (no available cars have a good day) and hung up at my face. Extremely rude and I will not be renting through this company in Norwalk.

I rented from this location prior and came back for another reservation. I was just overcharged $100 for two days. I asked that my AAA membership be used. I was told it was used. I asked that my rewards program be used. I was told it was used upon getting the receiptvia email. It showed me that I was actually being charged $52 a day an extra $17 for an additional hour Via email. It showed me that I was actually being charged $52 a day an extra $17 for an hour all of nothing that I confirmed or signed for the owner just completely got over on me. It went from $168 a week to over $130 for two days. I’m completely disgusted 🤢

After an accident, AAA arranged a rental for me at this location told me they closed at five I piled everything into an Uber was driven to the location which was closed at around 3pm called Hertz and couldn’t get a human on phone

My car was being fixed due to a car accident that was the fault of the other driver, after learning I had a choice of rentals, I switched from the rude treatment I received from Enterprise to this Hertz. I was in and out in 5 minutes, the office is clean and most importantly I was treated kindly and respectfully.

Horrible service, waited over an hour to get to the representative to pickup the car and another 45 minutes to actually get the car I need it for one day. Save your time and don’t rent a car here, you will just get frustrated. Never again
