I came to James and Daniel to shop for my now fiancé’s engagement ring on recommendation from my future brother in law, and they made the process so easy, but also so enjoyable!! Their expertise, recommendations and knowledge were unbelievably helpful, and they were also so receptive to any input or wants or suggestions I had to find the perfect ring. I was using a family heirloom diamond for the ring, and they made a stone that was originally purchased in 1985 look totally brand new! “Dawn at Marie's Jewelry pierced my daughter's ears last summer. Not only was her technique perfect, she was also fantastic with handling my daughter's anxiety over having the piercing done. She makes it really fun and exciting, let's the child pick out their earrings, calms them down, and makes it a really happy experience for them. She gave us perfect advice on how to do the aftercare for the new piercing and my daughter had no complications after at all. I've heard awful stories of people who went to other piercing places with bad infections after, but ours went perfectly! This is also a family run business where all the employees are super friendly. Best experience!”

Within a few days of placing my order, they refunded my payment and sent me an email explaining the item was discontinued and out of stock. “Ok let me start off by stating with full disclosure Mike has been a friend for over 20 years since before his place burned down on Thomaston Ave. from a restaurant fire next door. That being said I have gone to Mike for Birthstone Baby Booties charms for the Grandma’s when my girls were born (oldest is now 21). I won’t go anywhere but to Mike for anything, he will tell you straight up if he can do something or if that’s not in his wheelhouse. I promise you-you will never feel scammed or taken advantage of, he honestly doesn’t have that bone in his body. He’s a working jewler not a jewelry hawker and is a solo act. Just recently I was down dropping off my sisters ring to be redone, my daughters boyfriends chain to get repaired and getting my wife’s rings sized and soldered together. Also for our 25th Wedding Anniversary we got her a gorgeous Rose gold type infinity ring. “Azaria is an amazing employee. I have a 3 month-old daughter and I'm from Danbury. I called ahead of time to let her know I was on the way because there was traffic. The mall closes at 7 pm and she said she would stay behind just to provide me service. It was quick and my daughter cried for one minute. I definitely recommend her for piercings.”
“This location was so busy on a Wednesday afternoon even during the pandemic! There were only two staff members working but they were all truly trying their best to make the customers happy and were very thoughtful even with the stress. Kids were running everywhere even behind the counter (eye roll) and the two employees still kept their composure.”
