“A wonderful place to see a show. It has an old theatre vibe, but acoustics are good and seats are comfortable. There are bars on multiple floors, but be prepared, the drink prices are expensive.”

From the moment I started planning, Amalia and Chris were incredibly helpful, responsive, and genuinely committed to making the event special. Amalia even helped me come up with simple yet elegant decorating ideas that matched exactly what I had envisioned; and Chris even helped me fix the cake after I accidentally put a little dent in it while decorating the table.
The food was outstanding! The whole evening ran smoothly, and thanks to their support, I was able to relax and enjoy seeing my mom’s reaction — a moment I’ll never forget.

“Took a group of kids. Trails are easy and well marked. Stopped by potters field, which they'd never heard of. Good conversation starter. Lots of wildflowers in June. The kids also liked the playground.”

From the second we walked in they helped take care of everything, set up our cupcakes, then guided the kids through safe use of the equipment and made sure everyone was having fun. Highly recommend!”

“We recently had our wedding here and I cannot say enough good things.-To start, John and his team went above and beyond to ensure the most perfect day possible. John was incredibly helpful leading up to the wedding in our correspondence, and in person in our planning meetings he was beyond helpful and had great insight. Our bridal attendant Abbey was a delight, the staff (from the valet to the servers) were absolutely wonderful. Our friends and family raved about the attention to detail in service, as well as the food.-Now for the food- I am a bit biased but without a doubt the best wedding food I have ever had, and our guests have been non-stop raving about it as well. Everything was fresh, lots of seasonal & dietary choices, and truly delicious.-This venue may not be for everyone stylistically, but it is truly like walking into a fairytale at night and the vibes were above and beyond what we were hoping for. It feels like you're walking into a small scale "Newport Mansion" type home with plenty to see, and the dining room and dance floor had just the right amount of "new" yet rustic feel to not seem out of place.We could NOT have been happier with this venue and I have received non-stop compliments from every guest raving about the uniqueness, the service, and the food. “Absolutely cannot recommend enough the service at Lakota Oaks. I was in a hurry and left some things in my drawers, and they were nice enough to mail it to me. Their chef is excellent; and provided a plethora of options, including plant-based. Everyone is super nice, from the front desk, to the bartender, to the waitstaff. It's professionalism to the core, but with that warm touch that makes you feel it's personal.”

“Close transportation and shopping. Lounge on the top floor with a great sunset view of the NYC area skyline. Free wine and snacks in the evening and breakfast in the morning. Rooms are clean and well maintained. Some need updating. Starbucks coffee in the lobby, onsite dining and more options close by.
Rooms: Nice clean rooms. Slightly dated but great views.
Nearby activities: Shopping, dining, transportation
Safety: Staff close by the entrances. They are in and out of the area and parking. No issues in this area even into the late evening.
Walkability: 15 minute walk to historic downtown Stamford area. Same distance to the Hudson line Stamford station.
Food and drinks: Dubbing and drinks close by.
Noteworthy details: Fitness center, pool has been removed”

Bar / restaurant was perfect, room was clean and large, and staff has been exceptionally kind. I don't write a ton of reviews, but this place is worth it! Nice job and nice hotel.”

“We had an amazing experience working with The Mansion at Glen Cove over the past year leading up to our wedding on July 19th. We loved being the only wedding that day, which made the whole venue and staff focused entirely on us. Having both the bridal and groom suites all day was perfect for getting ready and relaxing.
The cocktail hour and reception flowed beautifully, and the half-hour hospitality for our guests was a lovely touch. Huge thanks to the chef and his team for the delicious food, especially the special spicy salsas we requested!
Jazmin and Meghan did an incredible job coordinating the day and working seamlessly with all our vendors. Our bridal assistant Ashley was a true gem and so helpful throughout the day.
Having our guests stay on-site at the hotel made everything so convenient, and the after-party at the speakeasy pub on the third floor was the perfect ending, open bar, late-night bites, pool tables, and great music kept the fun going!
We’re so grateful to The Mansion at Glen Cove for making our wedding day unforgettable!”
