Old Lyme Inn is a lovely, old world delight with all the ambience of a beautiful and cozy place. It is very dependable and in keeping with the area, making it a wonderful place to enjoy a meal before or after visiting local attractions. Guests love to sit by the fireplace or enjoy the fire pit outside. The bar is very cozy and the service is great, with a staff that is friendly and couldn't be nicer. The food is wonderful and delicious, with an overall great experience. The menu includes items like filet mignon, pork tenderloin, salmon cakes, hamburger, fish, soups, flatbread, and Brussels sprouts. For tea service, the scones, maple tartlets, and sandwiches are tasty and enjoyable. The inn also features a Side Door jazz club for concerts. It is a great place to take people, and many guests say they will return often.
I chose the Old Lyme Inn Easter Brunch primarily for featuring prime rib. But they ran out and our party of 10 had to settle for other menu items.

Food was delicious. Service was great. The child's price fix menu allows $36 for a grilled cheese sandwich but there is no appetizer or dessert offered for them and we were told they have no ice cream. The piano player, Steve was a delightful touch. The hostess is very warm and welcoming.
