Old Lyme Inn is a lovely, old world delight with all the ambience of a beautiful and cozy place. It is very dependable and in keeping with the area, making it a wonderful place to enjoy a meal before or after visiting local attractions. Guests love to sit by the fireplace or enjoy the fire pit outside. The bar is very cozy and the service is great, with a staff that is friendly and couldn't be nicer. The food is wonderful and delicious, with an overall great experience. The menu includes items like filet mignon, pork tenderloin, salmon cakes, hamburger, fish, soups, flatbread, and Brussels sprouts. For tea service, the scones, maple tartlets, and sandwiches are tasty and enjoyable. The inn also features a Side Door jazz club for concerts. It is a great place to take people, and many guests say they will return often.
I've only been there for their teas which are elegantly presented but not fussy, welcoming, caring, warm and friendly but not hovering! The atmosphere is delightful! If one has dietary requests, make them when you call for reservations.

We had a wonderful Mother's Day at Old Lyme Inn. Dinner spaced out perfectly providing an enjoyable 2 hour meal. Service was great.

Went to Mothers day Tea with my wife, daughter and granddaughter. It was excellent. Great service really good food and just a fantastic experience. Can't wait to back.
