“Completely thrilled with Johnson Floor Covering!!Renovating my house means the last thing in any room is the flooring.First, for an installed carpet, I shopped around, as one does. The big box stores had high prices and wanted to sell me carpet and install for rooms I wasn't ready for. Another local place was as pricey as the big box stores. Then I remembered hearing that at Johnson, they have remnants to choose from. Once thing I love about this store is that it looks like a flooring store, in regards to there are various flooring options, displays, large rolls of remnants, carpet options, and that it is not all completely organized. It's not all pretty with prices glaring out at you. Just a simple store.You wander about until Jim pops out and - gosh - what a nice guy! I told him my plight and he pointed me to the remnant carpets. I picked out three, asked for prices on each, and settled on the lowest priced option - a light purple carpet that would work out lovely in my renovated bedroom! The price was about $500 cheaper than the other places, complete with installation.The install went very smoothly!!I was so pleased with Jim at Johnson flooring, that I went back recently to discuss flooring options (over asbestos tile). I never installed a vinyl-plank floor before by myself, and was intimidated somewhat. But Jim allowed me to practice with the planks and gave me the confidence and some pointers to do the flooring. The price was very reasonable based on what I has seen and researched elsewhere. (Hint: a vinyl plank install kit from Amazon for approx. $30 bucks make it all go smoothly)As I get to more rooms, I will be back!Totally recommend Johnson Floor Covering!!”

Attempting to refinish kitchen cabinet base moldings with no luck finding a matching stain..With a sample, they were able to custom match (no matching machine for stain) by hand as well as guidance on applying to the ash hardwood. Did not charge extra for the time spent matching and only for the material.. Highly recommend!!”
