“Great farm market on the outskirts of Hamden. The kids play area is great and there are goats there as well. My kids look forward to getting a snack from the market and then going to play and see the goats.”

“Well, it’s not everybody’s cup of tea because of branding, Aldi‘s does make an effort to keep up with the competition. You aren’t gonna find these prices anywhere else in the area. If you learn to shop around and use some of the different products they offer instead of the brand-name ones you’ll find that they are very similar and taste and quality. So there’s not much need to shop anywhere else unless it’s for something specific that you need. Also learning which day of the week to go there when they have everything fully stocked is the best. But I can’t tell you that because that’s my secret so you’ll need to just go and find out yourself.”
“Great selections of local dairy, meat and vegetables. Items can be a bit pricey, but the quality is outstanding. The cheese and fresh bakery section could use expanding. Prepared foods and deli counters look great.”
“The published hours are incorrect and due to a Google glitch, the hours can not be changed. The Friday and Saturday hours are correct but they are open on Sunday, as well, from 10 to 3.”

“Staff are excellent. Good prices on most items. Sometimes, I find items there that no one has at a great price. Produce, like any grocery store, must be checked over for freshness. I recommend going there first, than hitting the bigger chains for the rest of your needs. You will save $$”

“It’s German grocery store where you can buy organic produce mostly from Europe and Canada. A must if you want to buy organic stuff at reasonable price.They keep only limited but essential items.”
“Fantastic! Came here with a friend to do some apple picking and enjoying the crisp fall weather, got a few bags of nice apples and some goodies from the shop. The cider donuts were delicious, all the staff were lovely. Afterward we stopped over in the distillery for a cocktail, ended up buying the melon moonshine because I enjoyed my drink that much. Hope to come back next year!”

“The grocery collection is huge. It is a global set of food items as well.
We saw Lebanese things, carob based cookies, Pakistani cookies etc. I had to come home and look up some of the things, so I can get next time.
The back section has a cafe with Tandoori Chicken, Sheesh Kebab, Mango Lassi etc.
The person at the food counter was very helpful!

Again, a good collection of vegetables. Wide varity. For example, I got the young raw mangoes, which are not easy to find.
Labneh, Aryan yogurt drinks etc. Global collection!”
