“I found some really pretty tops. It's always an adventure in Savers. You never know what you'll find. This location is large and well stocked with almost everything except the women's shoes 9-9.5 and up. But you go in with the mindset not expecting to find anything. Then if you do, it's a great visit.”

“After driving by on numerous occasions while working, I finally was able to make it here on the weekend and look around a little. There is certainly a lot of trash that is dumpster worthy, but if you look around enough, you might even find items worth buying and taking home with you.In the end, we did find a couple of items. Some stuff was priced a little high, but then again, you aren’t being forced to buy anything. With this type of place, you never know what you might find here… worth looking around.”
“I have been coming to this store with my mother for the longest time and I absolutely love it there. All the staff I have bumped into and interacted with have all been genuine sweethearts and genuine people in general. They have done so much for the community. Me and my mother frequently donate here because we know they mean well. I definitely recommend taking your old clothes, jewelry, furniture, ect, here because they genuinely give back to the community and don't just take the profit.”
“Everyone was really friendly and helpful. Al has a lot of treasures in store. Definitely worth the trip if you're in the neighborhood. Found some new plates to add to the collection at a much cheaper price!”
“Not only have the lovely women running the operation allowed me to complete necessary volunteer work, they have a wide range of tools, clothes, utensils, books, etc. Offered at a reasonable price for a beautiful cause. No other thrift store or chain provides a wonderful service. Would give 100/10”
“Checks every box for an incredible thrifting experience: clean, organized, well-maintained and regularly updated inventory, excellent customer service, well lit, uniform sizing chart, and YOU CAN EVEN GET ALTERATIONS DONE IN THE SHOP.
Cute events and film screenings after hours. Love love love this spot! <3”

“One of my favorite Goodwill's in the area, the store is pretty clean, and the staff is friendly. Great selection of clothing, and some of my best knickknacks.”
“Totally worth visiting. Not a very big store but with great variety. Found many cool things in excellent prices. Does has fitting rooms, you just ask in front to unlock one. Clothes were not in very good condition but low priced overall. The only thing I believe they should fix is displaying items particularly small ones in a less messy way so that it's easier to see them. Nice vibe and friendly staff! Definitely going to visit more often.”
“This place is a treasure chest. Have to stop in at least twice a month. From clothes to fishing gear you never know what you'll find. Very clean and the staff is friendly.”

“I liked this store. It's a true thrift store with actual thrift store prices. OK selection of clothes, I managed to find a vintage mid-length leather coat that looked like it was straight from the 70s! Great find! But if you're looking for housewares this is the place. A lot of items are stacked on top of one another, dig deep, you never know what you'll find.As I already mentioned fair prices and the employees aren't afraid to make a decision on their own if there's not a tag on things.Happy hunting!”
“Gives hope gives you a chance at life to do something with yourself give back to the community at large its an honor & pleasure to be employed their I feel so good I can work and have income be proud of myself everyone needs a stepping stone”
“While there used to be a Salvation Army where I live (Vernon, now closed forever), I know there are still other stores like these scattered all over CT.
I trekked to Hamden earlier this year and when I went here, they had some cool stuff.
I found a couple of good things that I liked. The clothing selection is decent, book selections are a little iffy. There's literally so much space that could be used to keep merchandise in these areas. Service is really good.
I think this Salvation Army is better than other ones I've been to.”

“I’m from out of town and stopped here. I got a few good deals. If they were not half price I would have not bought, just too expensive for a goodwill but I lucked out today. Store looked clean. I’ve seen much worse. Cashier was friendly.”
“Very clean! Aisles were very well maintained
It is a small location though. Had lots of great bags!
Wish it was bigger,
Staff was very nice and patient with me!”
