“I have to say that this Goodwill lives up to it's mission. They train the differently abled people. One young man greets you as you walk in and another does a super job of keeping the books/media organized. The non-challeged young lady at the register is the best at customer service. 8/18/2026 was only my 2nd time in the store, yet she greeted me like she knew me. I found two wonderful items that I was looking for and one was 1/2 price. This is a Goodwill that is doing things right. Well done.”

“The young lady at the donation drop-off Saturday was nice and polite, and I complimented her on this and she said her mother always said to treat people how you want to be treated. Prices on pot and pans were extremely high but in poor condition. A lot of the non-stick pans were extremely scratchy which makes it dangerous to cook in. It is my opinion it needs to be looked into. But overall experience good”

They are very popular for cloth shoes and so many other things most people coming here just only for the class, but I also recommend but when I went there to see the furniture electronic items they do have but it’s not enough to attract more crowds more customers but overall I had a good experience recommended this place everybody because it is located in a shopping plaza all around here. There is a Walmart restaurant, supermarket banks, and plenty. Plenty plenty of parking place which is really very nice. Highly recommend recommended this place if you’re looking restaurant supermarket cloth store home-improvement store everything right here all around checkout.”

“While there used to be a Salvation Army where I live (Vernon, now closed forever), I know there are still other stores like these scattered all over CT. I trekked to Hamden earlier this year and when I went here, they had some cool stuff. I found a couple of good things that I liked. The clothing selection is decent, book selections are a little iffy. There's literally so much space that could be used to keep merchandise in these areas. Service is really good. I think this Salvation Army is better than other ones I've been to.”
