“My wife had always said good things about Sikorsky Credit Union and I finally listened and checked them out. I went down on a Saturday without an appointment and was trying to see if I could secure a car loan. I was asking a lot for any day of the week let alone a Saturday. I was in a time crunch because the dealership said my offer would expire. I was lucky enough to have come across Agustin Saravia who is the Branch Manager. This guy was amazing! He was able to overcome some obstacles and set me up with a checking and savings account and secure a car loan for me all within a couple of hours. I cannot say enough good things about Agustin. Before that it was a different name .Used many branches in my area of Hamden CT but the Woodbridge branch hands down is the best .I had the pleasure of talking to Ryan over the phone when I needed a notary. He was extremely helpful and nade the grueling task easy and pleasant .I then went into the bank and met with Dan Smith. He's so great to talk to and extremely personable .His expertise in helping me get some documents notarized was much appreciated .I had been trying to find a notary that didn't need my first born as proof of citizenship and Dan,,Ryan and Wells Fargo took care of me .The Woodbridge branch is by far the most professional and personable . Been to several all over the state .This branch Shines .Easy access for parking and walkin.”

“You don't appreciate what you have until to lose it. I switched from Webster to People's United because I got a better mortgage rate at People's. I've found that it is very difficult to get customer service to fix anything at People's. 1. Webster allows you to transfer between any account online, whereas you cannot do that with People's. 2. Webster answers their phone within minutes, whereas People's will return your call in 40-60 minutes, so you have to sit by the phone. 3. If you have a problem with Webster, they will fix it the same day instead of making you wait literally weeks. 4. They will give you one overdraft forgiveness a year. 5. They will let use overdraft protection without a fee (just interest) from a line of credit. I have had no or very little problems with them, and the few times I did, they were patient and fixed the issues right away.”
