“This was an amazing venue!! I LOVE Bristol Event Center! Sarah Johnson was so great to work with! She made this process as smooth as possible for planning a wedding in less than 6 months! The grounds were BEAUTIFUL, so spacious, perfect for our 200 people wedding. The bridal and grooms suites were one of the best parts, helped the make the experience top tier- enough space for 6 bridesmaids and 2 hair stylists and 2 makeup artists! The connecting hotels were perfect for our out of town guests. I highly recommend this spot! So many people told us it was the best wedding they have ever been to!”

“I attended a friend's birthday party here. Wow! What a beautiful venue! The hall was large enough for 8 tables of 10 people with a roomy dance floor, a stage for the DJ and a bar. All of the food was excellent- the appetizers, the meal and the desserts were delicious and arranged beautifully! The ladies room was clean and had a long mirror so we could check ourselves out before returning back to the party.”

Our ceremony was gorgeous outside at the base of the mountain, followed by cocktail hour for the bridal party and family at the top of the mountain, and then reception in a room with gorgeous glass windows. To top it all off, every part of our special day could join us. Our dogs were our flower girl and ring bearer. “I recently used this location for what was a reception of my sister and my new in-laws after a beautiful wedding ceremony this decent size location was utilized by my family and friends for just as beautiful celebration the location is conveniently in downtown New Britain Connecticut right off the highway before they're enough away so there's not a lot of traffic. I like that is located near a few restaurants and fast food locations so if you run out of food or someone doesn't like the food being served you can go grab you something else to eat is also quite a few adult beverage stores in the area so people can BYOB! They have a nice size kitchen where we were able to keep the food fresh and hot and also to serve the guests. I had a great time dancing all over the place and had a good amount of space to do so I was very tired for the couple days afterwards. As I was not responsible for the event I do not know the pricing or the quality of the customer service. I just know that the hall was clean and had a lot of space to hold a large crowd of people. I would utilize this space again for future events for sure.”

“Amazing place. I have visited other mansions and stately homes but other places leave me feeling that the owners just wanted to show off. House was designed for Alfred Pope by his daughter Theodate Pope as a perfect space for his art work. Every room is amazing and has been left in tact with the original art works. I loved the layout and furniture. I can imagine sleeping there in the cosy rooms It is nice to be reminded that there was a time when some people would spend money on art versus splashing gold on everything and importing the most expensive marble. Person doing tour was very knowledgeable. This museum is definitely worth a visit.”
