“You always go into these establishments cautious, esp if your selling something. You should knw the value of what your selling so your not taken advantage of. Patrick at Brookside Pawn, is very honest, he's not out to take advantage of a seller, esp if the seller is uninformed of what they're selling. Connecticut is a small area to live and work in, u cant expect to have a good name and repeat customers if your don't treat them right, so if u want your transactions to go smoothly and get what you think is a fair or even better then fair deal, then dont hesitate to take a ride to Brookside, def worth the drive, dont bother with any of the other shops you see, most will take what they want, not even say hello, and send u on your way feeling regretful that u didn't go to Brookside in the first place,”

“The guys at the shop didn’t low ball me with my items like a majority of pawn shops do !!! And they gave me multiple extensions around Christmas so I was able to get everything my son wanted and still get my items out of pawn , I recommend them to everyone before trying another shop service is always a 10/10”

Decided to check it out and was impressed with the variety in inventory; ranging from cool knives, power tools and instruments to vintage video games. The gentleman that I spoke with, Jay, was very helpful and patient with answering all of my questions. Worth checking out for sure!”
