“This place was extremity quiet, which I loved. I didn't have to hear people getting on and on an elevator. Talking loud in the halls, or kids running up and down the aisles. Very clean and simple. I rather spend my money on the local food and activities. This place is a gem. Will come back.”

“I stayed at the hotel under very unhappy circumstances. The staff was so welcoming and really went out of their way to make our stay extremely pleasant. Merry at the front desk was so helpful and kind. She really put me at ease about staying somewhere we were not familiar with. I can't say enough about Lisa at the bar . She went out of her way to make us feel at home. It was so nice to end our long days with a glass of wine and a friendly astmosfer to unwind and even laugh. Breakfast was great, Shannon's smiling face and kind heart started our day's off on a happy note. I just wanted to take a minute and thank all three ladies for their heart-felt kindness. “My husband and I enjoyed spending the first half of our honeymoon here. It was so quiet and cozy here with wonderful food options and many neat sights to see close-by. We sat on the back porch enjoying a bottle of champagne one night and appreciated all the quiet and stars. The bed was so comfortable and all the rooms were beautiful and elegant. We would definitely stay here again.”

“We were looking for a place to stay while visiting relatives. This place had decent reviews and was a better price point than where we usually stay. Our expectations were exceeded. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, and we liked have a table and chairs in the room (which I used to wrap Christmas presents for family.) Very basic breakfast, but the food area was clean and met a need. This is an area we visit frequently. We will definitely stay here again.”

“I was stranded on the highway and ended up staying here for the night. Is this the Ritz? No. But it's clean, everything works, I felt safe. The guy at the front desk was quick. The price was great (book directly with the hotel, it'll be cheaper than through one of those booking sites).For a shelter in a storm, this place is perfect”

“I wish I could give more than 5 stars. I accidentally left my wedding ring set in the room after checking out and didn't realize until I got home and I was devastated. I live 3 hours away. I called the hotel and the housekeeper had turned them in!! The front desk held them in a locked drawer until I was able to come and get them a few days later. There are still good people out there! Excellent service, the front desk employees were so nice and the rooms and lobby were clean and well kept! I would recommend this hotel to anyone.”

“My only issue with this hotel is that when you walk out of your room you are overcome with the smell of pot. Hotels not just the Best Western need to do something about that. It's unfair for those of us that don't smoke to have to smell that stench.”

“The employees I was able to speak with at the desk were so great! They felt southern to be honest, I was blunt to say the higher (up the coast) you go the less friendly it usually gets but not here. My only disappointment was the pool being worked on so kids were not able to enjoy it… but overall had a great experience and would gladly come back and visit the area! Management I forgot the name of the two girls/ladies that worked at those nights but they were phenomenal and professional! Very helpful!!!!”

“I LOVE this place ! ASPECIALLY SINCE THEY ALLOW DOGSAS LONG AS YOUR DOG Isn’t a dog that willRuin things in the room. And as long as you have the decency to clean up after your dog . They have pooping stations with baggies for poop. I brought my German shepherd there. And no one gave me any problems. The staff was very very nice and patient and polite. My dog behaves very very well. And is well trainedSo I’m sure that contributed to the fact that no one really minded. I would 100 percent recommend this place to anyone. They are clean and their rooms are super cute !! I also like how they have the place set up where the separate party ppl vs ppl who look like they just want to relax and rest and not be in a loud environment. The rooms in the back are the loud ones the ones in the front are more private and quiet.Rooms: Rooms are super cute and very clean !Safety: They have double door locks security on the room doors . They have phones in the room if you need to call for help. I haven’t seen any issues there so far. Speaking for myself.Walkability: Restaurants and stores are walking distance”
