“Needed an inexpensive overnight room and it was exactly what we needed. This hotel seems to be an older model; if you’re looking for luxury and modern things, go elsewhere. I did notice some small holes on the curtains along stains from wear and tear inside mini fridge, bathroom and light fixtures… did this ruin my trip? Absolutely not. Bed was comfortable and clean, overall carpets and common areas were clean and spacious. It was raining pretty bad the evening we got there so we weren’t able to enjoy the pool, but it seems fenced and a pretty good size. Breakfast was pretty basic but items tasted fresh. Staff was very helpful and friendly! Don’t let the other comments scare you away!”

“A Friend told us about the Tavern so we went in to have a drink. The Bartender ( I think her name is Darcey) was very Friendly and made us feel very Welcome. It made our visit very enjoyable. We plan on stopping by soon.”

This is probably the best smelling hotel I've ever been in. My first thought was a lady with amazing perfume must have walked through the hallway 2 minutes before I did. Then I realized this must be a cleaner or air freshener. I don't know but it was amazing.
Clean and quiet room. Hallway smells nice. Will be my preferred hotel in the area now.”
“I’m relocating to the Middletown area from NY and needed an inexpensive motel to stay in with my spouse for a few weeks while we were apartment hunting. The first place was Red Roof Inn in New Britain. I had to call as I was running late and the woman was rude and obnoxious and told me if I did not show up I would be charged. I pulled up and someone right in front of the entrance was trying to sell us drugs!! It was pouring and I contacted Wesley Inn & Suites. A gentleman over the phone gave me a great price and guaranteed me a smoking room. It is not the Ritz Carlton, but it is comfortable. The room Had a refrigerator, microwave, and TV with dish network along with a small but delightful sitting area!! As far as the owner goes, I cannot say enough great things about him!! When I explained that I may be staying a few weeks, he gave me a phenomenal rate and has been friendly, outgoing, and very attentive to anything I’ve needed. I would not hesitate to recommend this place and stay here again if needed. At the end of the day, we need a place to lay our head and feel secure and be comfortable and this place checks all those boxes!!!!!”

“The ceiling has these stains, the peep hole was painted over so we couldn’t see who it was when they knocked on the door. The establishment was clean and plenty of parking. Easy check in and check out… Coffee Cart available in reception area & vending machine … No free breakfast… No amenities… but a nice picnic table where you can eat outside… river in the back of the property absolutely beautiful… I would definitely recommend… I gave a 4/5 because of the ceiling stain & peep hole being painted over. ..”

“I stayed here for a few days and found it to be an incredibly comfortable and practical choice for a longer trip. The suite was very spacious, and having a full kitchen with a full-sized refrigerator made a huge difference, as I could easily store snacks and prepare quick meals. The room felt fresh and well-maintained, providing a quiet and relaxing environment that made it easy to get some rest. The staff were exceptionally welcoming and went out of their way to make sure everything was going well with my stay.”

During my stay this week, streaming apps were not accessible and an ETA is not available. The hot water seems to come and go.
The adjacent restaurant serves great pizza.”
“We needed a good stopping point for our road trip, and this place was perfect - right off the highway, clean, quiet, comfortable, and with a good morning breakfast with plenty of options (including meat and eggs, which made me so happy!). The room was spacious and had a nice sized fridge and microwave, and the beds and pillows were very comfortable. Juan, who checked us in, could not have been more welcoming, and all the other staff we encountered were kind and eager to help with anything we needed.”
“Unfortunately not a positive experience. I was given a room between two rooms being lived in and then noticed several rooms being apparently used for transitional housing. People loitering outside the rooms late at night talking loudly right outside my window. The snell of pot was so strong all evening and morning. Did not feel safe environment was very shady. Why the management puts travelors needing a good night sleep in the same area with the transitional housing rooms is crazy to me”

“It was a wonderful stay for a night with my 2 kids and husband. After adventure filled day having a clean quiet place to take a rest couldn't be better. Plus waking up to breakfast was a plus. Definitely recommended this hotel and I wouldn't mind visiting again.”
