“I've gone to New pond farm for probably about 15 years. I've always enjoyed myself. When my boys were four and 12 they had their birthdays there they did really well with those and the last few years I've had to visit using my wheelchair they're very handicapped accessible and that makes me happy I've had a few good conversations with Thatcher in the education center, and Michael the farmer very nice place to visit and hike”

“It's a pretty location, flat terrain, a little marshy in places. If you're looking for a challenging hike this isn't going to be it. If you want an easy hike with the bonus of a wildlife sanctuary to visit at the end this is your spot.”

“Nice facility. We are from out of town and recently attended an event here. They have a snack bar and drink machine. The only issue was their bathrooms were only for actual members. If someone traveled over an hour to get to this facility, I would think a restroom should be available to anyone attending. Someone should truly reconsider this need, especially for elderly visitors or children.”

“Dropped off donations to their new location, 2 Park Lawn Dr Bethel. The GM helped take out the bags from my vehicle and move them inside. He took the time to explain their process to get suits to military personnel and allowed us to see their staging room. He was very pleasant and very grateful for the donation. The organization accepts cash donations to cover operating costs in addition to business attire donations. They also accepted clothes hangers and a clothing rack.”

But most importantly, they helped me regain confidence and strength within myself and held my hand through the ups and downs of early recovery. They're resources are plentiful! All you need is ask. “This was another opportunity to check out a location in the Habitat for Humanity network where you can find some potential antiques or other items from days long past. Now the parking lot is small but there is plenty of space inside to look and to peruse for something older to be reused again. So if you are in Danbury then stop by the Housatonic Habitat for Humanity ReStore and make your purchase be of some assistance.”
