“This review is for Vivian. I gotta tell you and everybody that reads this. I wrote a review on vivian, about 9 months ago I had to call new opportunities again and don't you know, Vivian picked up the phone. I remembered her voice ..she at first did not remember mine. I didn't let her know my name either which makes this so much more poignant!!!! vivian, took the time and I mean,took the time to go over so many things that I needed. And the thing about Vivian is how much she cares. I gotta tell you.... you can't put a price on this. I'm a disabled United States air force veteran .i worked hard in my past . Now i'm at a point where I cannot work. And there's so many things I need. Vivian, treated me like I was her family. I can't tell you how much that meant to me. She is such a precious person. I have never met her..I want too 1 day. Words are escaping me now..
to describe how beautiful of a person She really is..everybody that reads this should know how about Vivian.. I hope her supervisor reads this and recognizes her for her genuine concern for her fellow man. These are words I don't use easily.. If you read this and you happen to call new opportunities and Vivian picks up the phone. Please recognize her too....she can be in a thankless job, so a simple, recognition for her love and concern over her fellow will make her feel good in her heart. “4.5 if I could… I LOVE going here but the lobby/check in always has a weird musty sock smell.

Bathing suit dryer doesn’t work often.

“Thursday April 11 I came across this beautiful loving and well organized soup kitchen. Staff are very welcoming and full of compassion. All types of life were there, elderly, Young adults and children. Definitely a safe place and really good hot food- I ate twice lol?? Bread. Cakes. Hot meal. Some clothes is out at times to take if you need them. I wanted to respect everyone's privacy so I did not take pictures. Thank you Meriden soup kitchen for your amazing service to the community!??❤️?”

“I took a very tall and solid cat tree to the shelter yesterday. Always thought I'd have another cat before my Mom and I adopted Clover the Morkie. It was time that other cats and kittens enjoy climbing and sleeping on the tower and shelter staff were very appreciative. Happy adventures kitties!”

“Best school in the state for fuel oil/bio heat hvac training. I went here, I've sent numerous employees here. Overall the HVAC program offered here is far ahead of the competition. I've hired people from other schools, and students from this program are much more advanced. Not only oil heat but all HVAC principals.”

“I enjoy this gym. It's low key and just big enough to have a positive social circle. The group classes aren't overly crowded which makes it fun and enioyable. I can get in do what I need to do and get out. All staff are great from what I experienced. Tim, Diane (2X), and Ashley are all excellent group instructors.
The only 2 concerns that I feel are worth mentioning is the pool which I know staff have been working at diligently to fix the temperature and it has been better last few days and the parking. Sometimes you come for a evening group exercise class and it's very hard to find parking. It maybe that they are offering different classes at the same time or overlapping but if you want to attend a evening class factor in about 15 minutes extra for parking. Don't forget this YMCA has child care where parents picking up in evening, there are people who live here as well who park. It can get a little crazy in the evenings from what I've experienced. As long as you give yourself the extra time you should be good. This gym brings such positive vibes.
