At approximately 4:45 PM, I contacted Safelight to confirm my appointment and obtain an estimated time of arrival (ETA). However, after a 20-minute hold without any updates, I decided to disconnect and re-call. Upon reconnecting, I was informed that the scheduled technician had an emergency that morning and was unable to come to work. This revelation heightened my annoyance, as Safelight had failed to notify me of this change.
Safelight transferred me to the Rocky Hill branch, where I spoke with Jocelyn. She demonstrated remarkable patience and understanding in addressing my frustration. Jocelyn scheduled me as the first customer for the following morning, ensuring that I would not have to endure another extended wait. She apologized for the lack of communication and offered complimentary wipers as a gesture of goodwill. Jocelyn’s compassionate approach and ability to discern my irritation were evident in her initial tone of voice.

The technician who arrived this morning, Robert, was equally impressive. He communicated his ETA via phone and text message, arriving promptly as anticipated. Robert was friendly and courteous, efficiently repairing my windshield. However, the wipers that Jocelyn had promised did not function correctly with my vehicle. Robert assured me that he would return later that day with replacement wipers. He arrived at my residence within 20 minutes with the new wipers.

“Excellent group of workers there, Kelvin is exceptional, they patiently waited for me as I have a rare disease and wasn’t feeling well and I had to leave tires there for a few weeks and they were so nice , they told me don’t worry , my tires are safe there and to get better. Finally I got better and got my rims and tires put on and am planning to go back for other services because of Kelvin- he’s an awesome caring and thoughtful person and I highly recommend this company and store , not a long wait, answered all my questions and I’m so happy I have them a chance because unfortunately as a woman I’m always getting ripped off, not with these guys- definitely give them a chance, they aren’t just employees , they are very kindhearted caring people - see you soon!!!”
