“What’s not to love, old fashioned friendly service the way gas stations used to be. It’s also where I go to catch up on fishing talk and gossip. Try that at another gas station! I’ve been going to Armands since I was a kid going with my parents and I see no reason to change. When I’m in Seymour it’s the only gas station I will use.”
“I had work done on my car recently. I went to Woodbridge auto body because I had used them before under different ownership. Manny was awesome! He made the process very easy, stayed in communication with me about my car, and helped get me to the rental office. I was also able to leave the rental with him which was so convenient. The work on my car was flawless and I got some extra touch up paint. Would highly recommend working with Manny if you’re thinking about it!”

“This place was a god send!! I went the other day to another shop to get an oil change and tire rotation after speaking with them the day before. Walked in to no lights on and no one in there, door unlocked. Soon two gentleman from the back came out and gruffly said they were closed and I said ok but your door is unlocked to which they replied how else would the workers get in. So I left and called another shop who was able to squeeze me in and got my car done within 40 mins. They even charged way less than what the other shop quoted. When I asked if they were able to recalibrate my tire sensors after the rotation they went to make sure it was done. Sardo’s is my go to shop from now on. This was my first time having my car serviced since moving here and they knocked it out of the park. The other guys lost a potential client. I understand things happen but it’s how you treat people that is what keeps people loyal to you, and it is evident Sardo’s is in the business of taking care of their clients.”

He kept in contact with us the entire time and came as quickly as he could. He was kind, friendly and changed our tire on the side of the highway and got us back on the road again. Thank you!”

He was recommended to me by another mechanic-I was told it was head gasket by a few people but he checked it out and found out it was the oil cooler. I am very happy with the service and my daughter had her car back the next day.”
“Every freaking time I am amazed at the honesty within this business. A few years back I went in to do a brake job but they told me not to spend the money because on our Jeep the rear axle was too rotted to drive safely. Then I brought my Passat in because it was shutting off. A few minor things and it was like new! Now I brought my van in because a big box shop told me I needed to get a new manifold for $900 after someone stole my catalytic converter. I went straight to Emmit’s and they changed the gasket for no where near what the others said and it runs like new. Don’t waste your time calling around, you can trust these guys!”

“My son got into an accident on prospect/Naugatuck line. Local police called ace auto since they were next on tow rotation. 3 cars needed to be towed they showed up with 2 wreckers and a flat bed. Since my sons car is rear wheel drive with front end damage they put it on dollies. As a former wrecker operator myself I do understand police tows, state rates, and additional cost and was ready for a whopper of a bill for it to be towed from Naugatuck to Wolcott. Not only did they not try and take me for a ride, they were professional and polite. Will use again! Quality family owned and operated business...A big thank you to Eric for a job well done!”

“Finding a good and honest mechanic is hard to find. These guys only fix what needs to be done. Most shops change rotors and brakes at same time. They will not change rotors and charge extra is not needed. I have come to them for years and never had any issues. Wouldn't trust anyone else with my car.”
