“I was worried when it appeared that I would need a new transmission. I was concerned that whichever shop I chose, I would end up spending several thousand dollars on a new or rebuilt transmission whether I needed one or not. I selected Transmission Works based on the reviews indicating that the owner Ron runs an honest shop. I can fully attest that this is the case as Ron and his team found a small leak that was making my transmission lose fluid and perform very poorly. The problem was repaired in a day. Thanks Ron!”

“We had to have the transmission rebuilt for a 2011 Mazda CX 7. I believe the owners name was Bill who we dealt with. Everything was explained clearly, and some additional work that could have possibly been needed, did not need to be done. It was great to not have that possible extra expense. It was clear when the car was dropped off that it would have been a few weeks before we got it back and that was exactly the case. The work was done back in November and I wanted to wait some time to write my review. Everything has been working fine.”
“I can’t say enough good things about this business. My wife and I developed car trouble while en route for vacation in Canada. We had to pull off the interstate at 4pm on a Friday afternoon. Three shops refused to even allow us to come by to at least investigate what was going on. Jerry not only welcomed us to stop in, but stayed open and spent nearly 4 hours past closing time (on a Friday!) to get us fixed and back on the road. His price was very fair considering all the work that was required. We are sincerely grateful for his willingness to go above and beyond to help us out. Great, competent, and fair service.”

“Outstanding work and very honorable shop!My car sustained a transmission failure with a 2-3 shudder and other issues.I called this shop and Mario gave me a fair price to replace the transmission. He got me in the shop the very next week and had my car back to me within a few days. They did a fantastic job and the new transmission is working perfectly! They even allowed me to keep the old transmission and torque converter. I wanted it so I could pull it apart one day for fun and see what makes these ZF transmissions tick!While we were at it we noticed another issue with my front passenger side axle. I purchased a new axle from FCP Euro and Mario had the axle installed the very next day while I waited in the office working.Mario personally took my car for road tests with one of his techs to ensure everything was operating properly.I have been looking for an honest and fair mechanic for a very long time now. Every experience I've had with Mario and his crew has been kind, courteous, fair and fast! I cannot express enough how much I appreciate this shop.
