“Clean, well kept, and well marked merchandise… and when I said yes to the grandkids who asked to go there, they put all their items down in Dollar General so that they could really get items they wanted at 5 Below.”
597 Farmington Ave Unit 2, Bristol CT 06010
“The store is very clean and organized. All of the employees are helpful and say hello with a smile. Clean and organized with a good selection of items and employees who are friendly and kind gets five stars from me.”
248-D New Britain Ave, Plainville CT 06062
“Budget wise products! A little of everything, except food. They do sell all types of candy and snacks though. Great store for back to school supplies! Just a little to warm in the store, needed more A/C, it was in the 90's temp outside when I was there.”
1600 SE Rd, Farmington CT 06032
“Nice place. Nice selection and variety of products. I like the fact it’s bigger and that they have a bathroom and water fountain. Most Five Below’s I’ve been into don’t have those. So that was really convenient. Very nice five below. Will totally be back.”
533 South Broad Street Spc 2C, Meriden CT 06450
“I love coming to the store. They always have the things I’m looking for!! Tonight, the girl that was working was so sweet and you even called me pretty despite the fact, I’m not wearing any makeup.. You guys are the best”
470 Lewis Ave #46, Meriden CT 06451
“Nice workers. The mall is pretty empty but not completely so and this store is a perfect complement. I was able to get a CD and a funko accessory. $10 for both is not bad. And there were people but it was breathable. Will be back”
Dollar General opened its 20,000th U.S. store on February 24th in Alice, Texas. It’s a major milestone for the discount chain that started as one small general store back in 1955. Starting with a ribbon cutting ceremony, the grand opening celebration began at 9am. First customers received some freebies - tote bags filled with free product samples and snacks from DG's Clover Valley brand.
