“Dinged and dented my bmw 440i pretty good on a stone wall on someone's steep iced over driveway...I called the shop and he told me he would take a look and give me a quote on the damage.
Took 2 minutes and he gave me a very fair and reasonable quote. Told me to drop it off during the week on a tuesday which I did. The car came back looking like nothing ever happened and he matched the paint very well I cant even tell. If anything comes up in the future, I will definitely go to him for body work, thanks Nick.”

“Hi I recently moved from White Plains New York to Stamford Connecticut. I am so happy I found Universal auto Sale and repair Miguel is amazing and always works with me I have three cars and he worked on all three I have a BMW and Mercedes and the Chrysler Pacifica and I will recommend this place to everybody. I recently took my car to MIDAS and I was told that I need a starter a battery a serpentine belt and the engine mouth. Gave me a ridiculous price of almost $3000. I want to Universal auto sales and repairs Carmelo diagnosed the car called me and told me that all I needed was my starter and the motor mounts and he recommends a tuneup. Never will I ever go to any other place I strongly recommend save some money and go to Universal auto sales and repair and ask for Carmelo!!”

“OMG. I took my mini today to have it looked at.. someone managed to scrape it whilst it was parked. I had already been given a quote of $1800 which I thought was high as the damage wasn’t awful. Anyway… they took one look at it.. told me he didn’t think it needed anything major. Asked if he could try himself to get the colour back. It’s absolutely perfect. He kindly refused any payment from me. The nicest genuine guy ever. I will be recommending to all my friends. Teaches me that genuinely nice people still exist in the world!!”

“Went to Empire Mazda again for another lease because my lease was ending. I wanted to upgrade and get something newer with more features. I knew I would pay more but i just wanted a fair price. Eric the Sales Manager greeted me at the front desk. He asked me all the questions about what my needs and wants and directed me to the car that best fit what I wanted. He then selected his Salesperson Mike Smith to help me. He brought about a a New CX-50 and went over everything from front to back. We ended up working out a great deal. Jay in Finance was quick and smooth with going overall my options and made me feel very un pressured. At the end Eric came back to make sure I was happy and thanked me. I highly recommend Empire Mazda. They went above and beyond.”
“Absolutely horrible customer service. Woman answered the phone without a greeting, as I proceeded to ask my 1 question, I was interrupted and talked over several times.
The only reason why we had to choose this location of service, for an inspection was b/c it was an Allstate approved claims location.
To make matters worse, she said “I apologize if my English isn't clear enough for you.”
As a business owner myself, I would never talk down to a potential customer, interrupt or talk over them. Common courtesy would allow the person calling in to give all their information first and then proceed to answer.
She needs to go back to school for formal customer service and phone etiquette. No wonder their reviews are standing at a 3.9. I wish I could leave a negative score but 1 star will have to do.
*** Update as of 10/8/24: The rest of the interactions were MUCH better. Said vehicle was repaired, communication was prompt via emails and calls. I will change my stars from 1 to 4 and chalk up the initial interaction as someone having an off day and a lesson learned from previous review. I wish all small businesses success. ***”
