However, some customers report mixed experiences with specific store policies and staff interactions. One customer expressed frustration with a one bottle maximum per customer rule on a specific bourbon, finding it nonsensical especially during a large purchase. Another customer at the Stratford location had an unfortunate encounter with a particular cashier whose behavior was far from satisfactory, described as rude and sarcastic when responding to a simple request for boxes, creating an unwelcoming environment. Beer selection was below average compared to other Bev Max in Fairfield County. Manager was willing to order what I wanted, but that shouldn't be necessary.
