“Went in for resizing on a wedding band with beading, a chain replacement and clasp repair on a necklace, and an engagement ring purchase.Even with minor mix up with the chain pickup, they were absolutely wonderful. They were great when it came to buying items (when they didn’t have what I described, they immediately looked up matching products available for purchase). They were communicative, and reasonably priced when it came to repairs. They treated our sentimental jewelry with care, even though it’s not the most expensive or fancy. Great option for anyone who wants to buy high quality jewelry.”

“Just moved to Black Rock and my first visit to Henry C Reid was kind of a "wow" experience. Two of the co-owner Reid brothers introduced themselves and welcomed me to the store, which was unexpected. The floor Sales Executive Katie was fantastic. She was knowledgeable about all of the pieces I asked about, without being pushy. This is now "my jewelry store". The selection of jewelry is very diverse which really appealed to me and they had some beautiful Italian designed jewelry.”

“We shopped for our wedding bands here. It was a delightful experience! Helen greeted us and helped us find exactly what we were looking for. My engagement ring is vintage (passed down from my mother-in-law) and unique. I didn't know if I could find a band that fit well and looked good together. I must have tried on 10 bands and Helen was so patient with me! She also recommended I purchase my wedding band slightly bigger than my actual ring size. I followed her advice and was so glad I did! She is caring, kind, and extremely knowledgeable! They also sized down my engagement ring by 1.5 sizes and it looked amazing. They did a wonderful job! “Look for Joram; he will take care of you!I started looking for an engagement and wedding ring in the beginning of January. I just missed the holiday sale so the prices were back to normal until valentines.That was when I met Joram. He was polite and well articulated. “Words cannot express how much it has meant to work with Xiomara over the past couple of months. I ordered my partner and I matching marquis cut diamond ring wedding band sets online and had them shipped to the Milford location. She got yellow gold and I got rose gold for myself. Xiomara along with her colleagues were pleasant, kind, affirming, patient, thorough and calming. She cued into how nervous I was and absolutely eased my nerves. The most nourishing part of my second visit was offering her a hug because words simply could not express my gratitude. My third visit was amazing as well because I was able to bring my partner in to have her ring resized. Again, Xiomara was kind and affirming. She had not known that my partner and I were discriminated against by the original establishment that I was to do my proposal at. So it felt lovely to have her and the associates support. “Michael Vincent Michaud is the son of Michael Michaud of Silver Seasons jewelry (see separate review under Four Seasons Design Group). Both are jewelry designers, and while father's influence is apparent in son's work, they each have their own unique artistic, as well as generational perspectives on this medium. Michael Jr. uses techniques similar to his father for the metallic portions of his jewelry, but while Sr.'s art revolves around meticulous castings of nature elements, Jr. makes glass his main focus. Likewise, Jr.'s look tends to be more simplistic and unrefined, in it's own good way. It is appropriate that this company is based in Fairfield County, CT, because the jewelry has a New England chic look to it. Michael Vincent's style has a casual, young vibe. The colorful pieces can dress up or down, and while bold colors tend to render jewelry more casual (than silver or gold tones), their minimalist message redeems the works, adding sophistication. I like my Michael Vincent jewelry in the summer, or for an island vacation, but it still works all year. Michael Vincent's pieces are slightly more affordable than his father's. Michael Vincent regularly has a sale page on his website, and gives promos. For example, at the time of this review, the website is offering free shipping on $50 purchases, and a free gift (necklace) with $100 orders.”
