we were at the self checkout and the machine had issues processing a couple of items we were purchasing.
the employee was a white male wearing glasses. he was super helpful, courteous, professional and very friendly.
if every employee at every business had his work ethic businesses would make much more money because customers would return for the great customer service.
we apologize for not knowing his name, we wanted to give him credit for his great customer service.”

“Now this one true is up in the Feeding Hills part of Agawam & if you walk it can be a hike unless you use PVTA for this but the trip can be worth it. “Went to Stop and Shop for the first time yesterday. I want these in KY! I'm so over Walmart. The employees at S&S were friendly and knowledgeable about the products and their location. Two women went out of their way to help us, even leaving their station to find exactly what I needed. The store was clean and uncluttered. We had just been to Walmart and I asked 3 separate employees where items were and they had no clue and didn't offer any extra assistance. The cashier at S&S was also friendly and engaging. If we had Stop and Shop grocery stores in Lexington, KY or Frankfort, KY, I'd never shop at Walmart again.”

“This review is for the florist department. I came in tonight in a pinch as my fiancé is getting out of the hospital tomorrow and I wanted to make sure a nice arrangement was in place. I usually have flowers delivered but again, I was in a pinch. Helena, the florist manager was nothing short of fantastic as she made me a beautiful arrangement and was super helpful. I honestly couldn't have been happier and I'm now kicking myself because I usually spend double the price from an independent florist. I will now be using this Stop and Shop's floral department with all of my floral needs. “This is a very good place for fruit and vegetables. Pots & Pans (AKA Mud Magnet) and I stopped here recently. He bought 2 fishing poles for grand kids (they were $5.50 more EACH at a competitor further north...for the same poles).He also bought an H2O melon (quiz follows), 4 lbs of peaches, 10 ears of corn, etc. He says the prices are much cheaper than the stores in Astoria where his wife, The Breathtaking Maria, shops.
